CRYING BC THIS IS THE LAST CHAPTER (for now ofc) 7509 words.

~FIVE POV~

We ran threw the tunnel, and finally made it to the end. Viktor panted. "Let's never do that again."

I scoffed. "What, narrowly escape the apocalypse?"

"Yeah, well, its kind of our thing, isn't it?" Diego said, spear gun in hand. I inspected the room. It was nearly identical to the room we were just in.

"There's something very wrong about that." Allison said, which caught my attention.

"Same suite just ass-backwards." Lila said.

"No hyperbole there." I said, staring at the buffalos..

"This is some hardcore Alice in Wonderland shit." Ben growled.

"Yeah, it only gets weirder."

Reginald panted, shutting the door. But Y/N wasn't with him. Neither was Klaus. He was out of breath. "At last, the other side." I glared at the old man.

"Where's Y/N?" I growled.

"And Klaus?" Viktor added.

"Children, I'm sorry, but your brother and sister.." I felt tears prickling in my eyes. "I did all I could, but they didn't make it threw in time. The Kugelblitz has claimed its last victim."

I scoffed. "No, no." I denied. "She was right behind me. She was in the tunnel!" I protested.

"We need to go back." Peridot yelled.

"There's nothing to go back to." I sniffled, a tear rolling down my cheek. Usually, I would try to hold it in. But it was the love of my life we are talking about here. Yes, she may have betrayed me earlier but so what? That didn't change the years we spent together!

"Children, there will be time for tears later. Right now, we have to keep moving." He panted, storming out of the room. I looked down, not believing it.

Peridot went up to me. "I'm sorry." She apologized. "She was a great person." Was.

I hissed. "No. She wouldn't just-" I sighed, looking up at her. "She's still alive. I know it."
