How exciting! Royal Club's welcome tea session!

The day before-Royal Club Clubroom
Checking their resources, newly appointed president Elisa tided the room to make the room more presentable to the incoming members of the Royal Club. "You spring cleaned this whole room during winter break last year," Alicia lamented. "Do you have to clean it any further?"

"If the room isn't clean enough, then it'll form a bad first impression on us, the exco!" Elisa scolded. "They'll think we don't care about the club enough and won't come after our tea session!" She then gathered the girls and briefed them on what to do, as well as what to do when walk-ins appear outside their door. All agreed to her plan and left for the day.
The next morning-Royal Club Clubroom
Gathering two step ladders, Elisa and Madison went to either side of the door. Attaching the hooks to the door, they called Alicia to throw Elisa the banner. Alicia excitedly did as she was told and threw it to Elisa. Elisa opened it and did her best to pass it to Madison. After which, they hung it up together.

The banner was a bright red with golden letters, reading "Royal Club's first welcome session!". This interested many, who immediately rushed up towards Elisa, asking if she accepted walk-ins.

Trying to disperse the crowd, she held up her hands and told them, "I will only do registered members first. I only accept walk-ins on a case-to-case basis. At most, I'll just tell you more about the club."

Madison and Alicia were shocked by how she handled the situation.

"I thought she'll at least let them go for a trial session," Madison remarked.

"She has no mercy..." Alicia claimed, with a smug face.
That afternoon-Royal Club Clubroom
Elisa stood out of the Royal Club and screamed with a loudhailer, "Royal Club members that have been registered last winter, please proceed to the Royal Club Clubroom now. Near the computer lab. I repeat, Royal Club members that have been registered last winter, please proceed to the Royal Club Clubroom now. Near the computer lab. Thank you."

The registered members started streaming into the room, while Madison did a head-count of the members. Counting that there were six new members, only then did Elisa lock the door.

In the Royal Clubroom, Elisa inspected the laptop and projector, before starting up her laptop and slides. Meanwhile, Alicia scribbled across the board Welcome to the Royal Club. "Ladies and gentlemen," Madison announced.

"Newbies to the Royal Club..." Alicia continues.

"WELCOME TO THE ROYAL CLUB!" The duo chorused. Everyone cheered in the room.

"Girls, you didn't have to do that, did you?" Elisa replied, shocked by how they introduced themselves to the club before she introduced herself to the club as she was the actual president. With the slides all ready, she pulled away the blackboard and pulled down the projector, before she introduced the club properly.

The next half an hour was just a boring presentation on the meeting dates of the club, the Royal Club exco, what to expect and past activities. After her talk, Alicia started the icebreakers.

Throwing a balloon across the Clubroom, Madison played some catchy music and everyone tried to catch the balloon. When the music stopped, Alicia looked at her long list of questions and asked, "If you could be an animal, what would you be and why? Oh, introduce yourself with your name and realm by the way!" Elisa sighed, thinking: That's not how you carry out icebreakers, Alicia. Name goes first, then question. Besides, do the members really need to say where they come from? Nonetheless, she stood at the back, watching the scene unfold, only intervening if things went out of control. She wanted to see Alicia's strengths at its best.

At the end of the chaos, only did Elisa emerge out of her little den (behind the laptop). She reminded everyone about their next club meeting before dismissing them. Taking a deep breath, Elisa decided to bite the bullet and see whether walk-ins were waiting outside the door.
