All of a sudden, her cousin came up to her and admitted, "Im so glad you at least have friends now."
For a moment, Alicia's heart "stopped."
"W-What do you mean?" Alicia asked with hesitation in her eyes.
"Don't you remember, dummy? You used to be friendless! Like- your only friends was grass!"
Alicia's eyes widened in shock. She thought: Cousin, I get what you mean but dude- that's an insult to my heart.
Present day
During English Class, Alicia whispered, "Hey Elisa, are you Pretty Cure with..."
"Madison?" Elisa replied, trying to finish her sentence.
"Yea."
"Yes I am. But let's stop for now, else teacher's gonna punish us." Alicia nodded, before the duo awkwardly turned back to their textbooks. Thankfully, neither were caught with their secret gossip.
During lunch
During lunch, Alicia and Elisa sat together as usual, with Madison plonking her order on the table. "Madison, don't do that," Elisa rebuked.
"Haha, sorry," Madison admitted.
"So girls, what's this whole 'Pretty Cure' thing about?" Alicia asked warily.
"Oh... we just fight monsters!" Madison answered casually.
"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!" Alicia screamed at the top of her lungs. "NO PRETTY CURE PLEASE!" Her shrill screaming gained stars from all over the cafeteria, both from students and staff. The Queen then strode boldly to the cafe and silenced everyone, before demanding Elisa, Madison and Alicia to come to her office.
Principal's office
"Girls, I know this was unintentional, but you have broken a rule about Pretty Cure," the Queen reprimanded.
Silence. The girls stared back in equal confusion.
"Pretty Cure are not allowed to reveal their identities in public unless it's a crisis," the Queen continued her speech sternly. "All talk of pretty cure is to be quiet. Accidents do happen, but I hope you girls don't repeat this again, alright?"
The three girls nodded silently.
"Also, a Royal brooch for you, Elisa," the Queen commented. "Take this with you. I've been made aware Alicia's a pretty cure now, so you have only one pretty cure left. Here."
Receiving the Royal brooch, Elisa thanked the Queen.
After school
Keeping their books in their lockers, Elisa and Madison bade farewell as the former went to her dorms to accompany Alicia . Madison watched Elisa go before her mind transited back to her cousin's "insensitive" words - at least in her eyes.
Flashback
Since young, Madison was a very soft-spoken and docile girl. She was very kind, but that was at a cost- others often took advantage of her kindness. As a result, she was often trampled on and bullied, hence never having any friends of her own. (Even if she had human friends, they were fair-weathered)
As a result, Madison sought comfort in her little shelter with animals and plants. She spent hours chatting with them and playing with them, and to her - that was her own source of happiness.
Until one day, her kingdom Fernia was invaded by war, so she had to flee to Royale. She eventually knew about the aftermath of the war through the news - and that was, all but one of her animal friends were alive.
Present day
Madison walked up the stairs slowly, wiping the tears from her eyes. She was overwhelmed by the past coming back to her when she thought she finally had her own friends.
No manners land
"So, how's things like with both of you?" Deforestation asked suddenly.
"Bad," Loveless admitted. "The Precure Winter and Sweet are nothing but a pain."
"Let me help then! I'm off!"
The same day - Elisa's dorm
"...and that's how you use Royalgram (Instagram)," Madison coached.
