❛❛ You can sing? ❜❜ He questioned as he stood in front of her, looking at her up and down.
❛❛ Yeah, Why does it matter? ❜❜ She replied as she catches his eyes on her body.

DAN had to call a taxi to get home. She really didn't trust taxis so she just asked the driver to drop her off on the curb beside her house. She was now sitting on her bed listening to music on her radio, drawing in her journal. She had already finished her lemonade which made her crave for some more. As she shaded in the drawing she heard a soft knock on her door, telling the person whoever was knocking to come in.
It was her brother. She saw the brown bag that he carried. She smiled as she saw him.
"I knew you would've got mad if I didn't get you more lemonade so I got you some more. Tom also insisted on getting you meal to have at least right now or in the morning." He told her as he gave her the bag.
Dan smiled as she thought about Tom telling Dakota to get her something.
"Do I have to pay you back?" She asked Dakota as she looked through the bag, replacing where her empty cup was with a full one.
"No, Tom payed for it." He told her as he sat down on the edge of her bed.
Dan was surprised on how nice Tom was being. She didn't think he had a nice bone in him at all.
"I'll thank him." She took out the food, seeing as though it was one of her favorite dishes.
"What happened after I left?" Dan asked as she put the bag down.
"Well," her brother acted out like he was looking up at the thought bubble above his head as he played with his non existent beard, making Dan giggle.
"Tom told Bryan to leave, so I don't think they'll even talk anymore. I do have to admit, he is really really weird," He began telling her, "Then we just talked and he asked to order another meal for you so I decided to get you the lemonade too."
"Thank you." She hugged her brother, him hugging back.
"But seriously, it is really late. Go to bed." He told her.
Even though she was ten minutes older, he sometimes acted like he was the older one. They didn't really care about the ten minute gap, they always thought it was just a break for their mother before she had to birth the other one out.
"You too! Goodnight." She smiled as her brother walked to the bedroom door with the brown bag full of food. He slowly closed the door so they don't wake their parents up.
Dan got up and turned off the radio. She put away the journal she was drawing in and turned off her bedroom light, having night lights on. She laid in bed, slowly falling asleep as minutes went by.

Dan woke up to loud music playing inside the house. It was Sunday, immediately knowing it was cleaning day. She groaned at the thought of cleaning up. She disliked cleaning but she knew it was all worth it in the end. Her mother walked into her bedroom, singing to the lyrics with the duster in her hands. Dan laughed as her mother walked towards her daughter, giving Dan the duster. Practically telling her daughter to get up and start cleaning. She grabbed the duster and got up, rubbing her eyes since she was still sleepy and really tried from yesterday.
