❛❛ You can sing? ❜❜ He questioned as he stood in front of her, looking at her up and down.
❛❛ Yeah, Why does it matter? ❜❜ She replied as she catches his eyes on her body.

WHEN I WAS FINISHED WITH MY PERFORMANCE I HEARD APPLAUDING ALL OVER. It was like my emotions took over me when I sing. The applauding and cheering, it was practically roaring at me once I got off of the stage. I wanted to cry in that moment, it was all I ever dreamed of and I got it, the loud and fullness of it just felt so unreal as like how it was when I first stepped on the stage.
As for my brother, he just wanted to cry. Even if he likes to be mean as a joke, this time, he wasn't. He said he was so taken aback he just forgot how to be mean, the kind words just started to come out of his mouth.
"You were, amazing!" Dakota said before he gave me a bear hug, making me almost lose balance for how sudden it was. I enjoyed this moment as I smiled into the hug. "Can we go get drinks now?" I asked, getting away from the embrace. My brother looked at me surprised as I would never say that, it was like I was in his shoes for the day. But in reality, if it were only he saw what I saw. The real reason why I wanted to drink was to get drunk and forget I saw the band that sat far away from the stage, staring at me, at my performance. I just really wish they won't come up to us.
Making my way to the bar, people came up to us but was shortly dismissed as they had asked if brother and I were performing anywhere else. Sadly I had said no as they had a small frown on their face. Even if I shouldn't have left their presence with a smile, it just made me happy people really enjoyed it.
My brother and I sat in a small little table, a person coming shortly after asking what drinks we want. After we had ordered I had look at the stage, the dancers that worked for the club, performing. I rested comfortably in my chair, playing with the empty seat with my foot that sat at the same table Dakota and I were sitting at. As I waited, those empty seats soon became filled. I looked up from the little magazine I was reading as I took with me just in case. I was met with those recognizable eyes, those eyes I would never forget.
I sat my magazine down, kicking my brothers foot lightly to get his attention as he was paying a good look at the stage. After I had got his attention I made a head motion to what was in front of us. They looked a little different, different clothes, different hairstyles. I looked at their looks more, trying to be quick as I didn't want them to think I just wanted to stare at them.
Tom's hair was braided. Then Bill's hair was a mow hawk. Tom wore more dark colored stuff as the only thing was colorful was his dark, faded, blue baggy jeans, and for Bill he wore the same fitted clothing but this time there weren't designs or any flashy stuff on his pieces of clothing. I was surprised as I didn't really think they would be into that when they got older, but they were full of surprises so it wasn't new to me.
I didn't bother to say a word. What was I going to say?
After all, they stopped talking to me all together just out of the blue. So, I also stopped talking to them. I shouldn't have but I thought it was the right thing to do back then. It was good thing too, letting me make peace with myself and being alone.
