IT'S BEEN A COUPLE OF WEEKS SINCE THE INTERACTION. The interaction that made me hate them more.

I walked into the kitchen of the house that my Aunt let me stay in. I felt the cold floor on my bare feet as I walked further into the kitchen, the morning sunlight reflecting from the window and into the house. I opened the fridge, taking out some water as I needed something to clear my dry throat. I walked back to the island, the wooden counter that sat in the middle of the kitchen. I opened the water bottle, sipping it right after.

I've been bored these past couple of weeks. I barely left the house which I knew my brother was really annoyed about. He kept telling me over and over again about how we should find a guitarist and bass player and how it would make our little band dream complete. But, I refused. I wasn't ready to, but maybe it would occupy me and my long hours of free time. I kept telling him what would happen to them if we go back to Germany but he had some stupid idea that we should just permanently move to Los Angeles instead of the countless trips we take.
I sat down my cold water bottle, seeing my brother walk into the kitchen shortly after.

"You finally wanna go out today?" He asked as he sat in the chairs that were directly in front of the island that separated us.

"I don't know. I do have to finish my horror movie marathon," I smiled as I thought about the halfway finished movie. I heard Dakota sigh, "You haven't been out the house in what, almost a month? Jeez Dan, you need to get out!"

I shook my head 'no'.

"And do what?" I asked, obviously annoyed by the constant begging of my brother. "Oh, I don't know, find a guitarist and bassist?" He told me as he got out of his seat, making his way to the pantry.

"No and no. What do I keep telling you? What if we leave and they don't have us." I turned around to where my brother was, him walking out after he grabbed a box of cereal.

"That's when we move here. So we don't have to worry about that." He continued as he grabbed a bowl from the cabinet.

I thought about it as I watched him pour the cereal into the bowl, grabbing the milk from the fridge and pouring it into the bowl as well.  "Ehh, I don't know. What about mom and dad? What would they say?" I asked, leaning on the counter.

Dakota turned around, facing me. "I already told them, they supported the idea so we can leave whenever we want to,"
He told me as he walked over to the kitchen island and sat down.

"Where would we live? How would we get a car? How would we get the money?" I kept getting annoyed on how he doesn't think about things like this. "Hello? Titi can help." He answered as he took a spoon of the bowl he was eating from.

"You sure she will?" I was really unsure of his idea.

"Yeah, she also offered it to us if you ever listen," he rolled his eyes as he looked down at his phone, doing whatever he does on it.
