Act 3.
Hello Shadow of My Past
I open a menu that Sayaka devised for me. It has three locations, and I click the button that says Infinity Castle. Here goes nothing. My body disappears and fades out of the garden of lilies and I pluck a single one from the ground and turn it into thin air, allowing myself to regain it at any time.
I reappear in thin air once again. I guess teleportation is my blood demon art? I open my eyes, still disguised by yellow and 8 heads turn to me. Shit.
I recognize every face in the room, and I know immediately that one recognizes me. I see Daki, Gyutaru, Akaza, Douma, Nakime, Kaigaku, and Kokushibo, and of course, my brother Muzan, the leader of demons.
I definitely wasn't expecting the teleport location that Sayaka set up to be the least ideal place in the whole fortress but honestly, what did I expect? It was Sayaka after all.
And then, I do the thing that any sane person who wanted to live would clearly do. I mean who wouldn't right...? I walk up to Muzan Kibutsuji, in front of all the strongest demons, and I slap him.
"The hell have you been doing? Are you an idiot? For god's sake I was sent here to help this damn world survive and I find you sending people to their deaths again? Are you trying to die damn it you stupid idiot!" I scream trying to teach him a lesson. But uh. That really wasn't smart.
"What did you just tell him? You're a nobody. Just a worthless low ranking demon. You had the nerve to talk to him that way?" I hear a low growl from the upper moons and I nearly jump out of my skin. They come at me going for the kill. I glance at Muzan, but he's not behind me. He's...in front of me?
"We've had our differences but I'm not letting you die again," He says which genuinely surprises me. I didn't know he actually cared.
