After the whole Northern Air Temple fiasco, the group and I took off after gathering supplies. During the first few minutes of the flight, Sokka poked my shoulder to get my attention. I noticed he was hiding something from me behind his back.
"Do you need something, Mohawk?"
"Well, I noticed how your sleep schedule is way off for the last several days, so I figure that you have problem going to sleep peacefully."
"Yeah, what about it?"He revealed what was behind him. A wooden box with a person gliding on top of it and hanging on the glider is a key necklace. He took the key and put it in a keyhole. I heard the click and grinds of gears as Sokka twisted the key with his tongue sticking out. And when he had let go, a song played. It sounded like my dad's lullaby plus something else that made it beautiful.
"Sokka, it's so beautiful, but what is added to my dad's lullaby? And how did you even make this?"
"Gran Gran's and my mom's lullaby. And the mad scientist helped with the mechanics while I remembered the rhythm and notes."
"I never knew it would sound so elegant coming for you. I wish I could thank the old man, but for now, I will thank you with a hug."I engulfed him into a hug while taking the gift he made. The song kept playing as I had let go and laid on his lap. And yes, I know what I'm doing, and that is getting spoiled by Sokka's presence while I still can. We are going to land at the Northern Water Tribe, and his eyes will be set on Yue at first sight. He's gonna need a wing woman while she is alive. With time still on my side, I closed my eyes and went to thinking; however, I never knew how tired I really was until I drift away from such a serious topic.
Narrator's POV-->
"Well, she's knocked out. That's for sure."
"Jasmine got little to no sleep for the last several days. Its no surprise that she would just go to sleep by laying down. And I have to admit Aang sleeping on her stomach while she lays her head on your lap is pretty adorable."Jasmine slept silently snoring while Aang breathed calmingly. Katara and Sokka smiled at their friends resting as Momo and Amberly joined. Everyone was left to their own devices to pass the time for the 48 hours to come.
Almost a whole day later, the amber eyed girl woke up groggy. As she was about to get up to stretch, her body was held down by someone's arm around her waist. Thinking it was Aang, she turned around grinning until her eyes spotted a mohawk ponytail. Her heart couldn't take such a surprise and ended up freezing stiff as ice. She called for Aang, who is on front on Appa. Apparently, he turned deaf overnight, because he didn't answer her plea while whistling and "talking" to Appa. She saw Katara smirking while sewing up her coat sleeve.
"H-hey Katara! Mind helping?"
"Hmm?"
"Your brother here is accidentally tangled with me, especially my legs. Want to detangle us? Mostly me?"
"It's not by accident. Sokka was 'cold due to flight'."
"But he has a coat on!"
"Exactly. Can't help you."Jasmine frowned at this predicament. Two friends betrayed her this day, and Sokka tightening his hold on her body like a boa constrictor didn't help the situation she was in.
'Oh well, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em.'
She closed her eyes and continued to sleep.
Time skip-->
"I'm not one to complain, but can't Appa fly any higher?" Sokka complained for the fifth time.
"I have an idea! Why don't we all get on your back, and you can fly us to the North Pole?" Aang fired back.
"I love to. Climb on everyone! Sokka's ready to take off!"
"I hope you are more than ready to swim rather than fly, because if you wave your fat ass in my face one more damn time, I will suplex you into the ocean with the seals!" Jasmine glared at the male waving his ass in her face.
