Jasmine woke up when she felt a sudden breeze. She drowsily yawned and opened her eyes to notice there was no pond nor trees but rather an excited bison beneath her. Her things are beside her in neat order where the coat won't be damaged by sharp objects.
'I don't remember this as the last area I laid at. Did Sokka...No, couldn't be. Probably Aang.'
When Aang was done waking Sokka up, I asked him if he carried me to Appa. He shook his head.
"Wait, if you didn't, and Katara isn't capable of lifting me, then..."
She blushed and covered her face with the trench coat. She didn't even want to look at anyone with her face feeling so hot during the flight to the Temple. Aang took a while to figure out why she would ask such a weird question and act in a weird way, but when he did...oh boy, he grinned like he solved one of the US's unsolved paranormal mysteries.
"Why is she so quiet and tucked in her weird robe?"
"Because I've entered 'Coat Mode', now, shush."Katara caught Sokka staring at the older girl with her head tucked in the cloth. She inwardly sighed as he seems to not trust her still. Sure, she didn't at first until Jasmine literally slapped Zuko back over board. Just thinking about it made her wince at how loud it was.
'She definitely didn't hold back that day. I've never seen someone who wanted to slap the prince... and follow through.'
Almost thirty minutes later, Jasmine felt the fluffy animal land and poked her head out of the coat to reveal such a wonderful sight of the official Southern Air Temple in front of her.
"Why does everything look so much better in person? Even if it's quite barren," she silently commented climbing down with the rest of the group.
That was when her stomach growled, but she ignored it like the other times. Jasmine always wondered what it would be like to fast for up to a couple of days, yet couldn't when there was so much to do in the life of a mafia boss that required strength. Aang walked in front, Jasmine is in the middle, and the siblings stayed behind.
The brown colored girl noticed how burnt the ground and cliffs are. The signs of firebenders are still there as if the cold kept the marks fresh. It reminded her why wearing the colors of them is not a good idea, and the siblings don't trust her. Her mouth held a frown when they reached the cliff where it's good to sightsee.
"So that's where my friends and I would play Air Ball. And over there is where the bison would sleep..."
"What's wrong?"
"This place used to be full of monks and lemurs and bison; now there's just a bunch of weeds. I can't believe how much things have changed."The three held solemn looks, but Jasmine was the first to speak.
"So about this airbender sport... how do you play it?"
Time skip/ Jasmine's POV-->
I wish I would've never spoke up and let Sokka do it. I don't think I can take another Air Ball to the stomach. I groaned as I landed on the moss, sticks, and snow once again. However, hearing Aang cheer up is worth it.
"Aang: 7, Jas: 0!"
I was about to get up until I seen the helmet.
"Sokka. Katara. Helmet."
The two came and witnessed the Fire Nation headwear in the pile of snow. I looked away as I felt their eyes on me. I don't want to picture their expressions.
"I need to grab my trench coat."
I hurriedly got up and walked away from them. My hands wrapped around it bringing me back to when I was little.
