SHIZUKO

Angel face.

The word linger inside my head for the whole night. I couldn't sleep tight because of one word. One word that can make my heart race so fast for the whole night, days.

His face, his voice the moment he said that everything keep on replaying like a broken casette. I try to keep it off my mind by sewing but it seems like it doesn't work at all. I sighed before placing the knitted items away and get up.

Snow followed me by staying close to me the whole time as.it make a small smile appeared on my face “My lord!” i heard someone come running toward me, calling my name a few time and it makes me turn around to see the person. Madam Yeoh, Mrs Posie's friend come toward me, she took a breathe in sucking it in sharply.

Her face did not seem like the news she's going to give me sound like a good one. “What is it?” i asked her before blinking softly and keep quiet to wait for her.

“W-well...the news about you have been spread out! Is it true that you are engaged to the lord?” she asked before looking at me waiting for the answer.

What do i say?

I bite my lips before waiting for the answer i will say to myself but I couldn't bring to say it. “Lady Lisle!” she startled me while shaking me a bit. “Well—”

“We are going to engage by the end of the month. But as for now, i will declare that we are already engaged. The preparation had already been made. Do not worry about it Madam Yeoh” the voice that i have been wanted to avoid has finally once again come to my hearing sense. His step got closer as he stood next to me

“What a splendid news!” Madan Yeoh said happily but i was lost of words. This was not part of the plan. Never is.

“What are you trying to do—”

He got on his knees taking out a ring before looking up at me. I took a step back at his sudden movement. My jaw almost dropped to the floor when he did that. Never, i would never imagine someone to propose...

Especially when it's Tristan Winer who is proposing to me.

“I know we only know each other for awhile but i think that you're the most suitable one to be my wife and i do not want to marry you for a business purposes only. I wanted our marriage to be lively, i wanted to love you for the eternity, i want you to be my moon. Whenever i look up at the sky i would only look at the moon as the other stars disappear. I wanted to hold you and call you all mine by yourself. So Lady Lisle..Will you marry me?”

I stared at him, his face is washed up with the red colour as he was talking there's sense of nervousness in his voice. Something about his words make my heart race. Countless time I've seen him and i would always find my heart race so fast.

“Yes.”
