⌜ Tapu-Koko! ⌟

Off Day!

It was the next day and you were having breakfast, your dad was looking around the house for his Poke Ball used to contain his Braviary.

"Did you see it yesterday?" Dad asked

"Nope, why does it matter? You don't have any work today." You shrugged

"Actually, I do. Still need to plan the lesson for tomorrow with Principle Oak, I think you're gonna love it!" Dad exclaimed

"Can't I know what it is?..." You whined

"Eelektross!" Eelektross said

"Found it! And no, you can't. That makes it less fun. Besides, it's supposed to be a surprise for everyone. Even for you." Dad said

Braviary landed on his arm and your dad opened the door after waving to Tapu-Koko who had flew past the door and towards you.

"See you!" Dad shouted

He shut the door and Ampharos locked it, he then came over to you and pointed to the beach outside that you hadn't visited in a while.

"Let me guess, you want to take a bath." You sighed 

Luxray recoiled from your hand that was petting his head at the word "bath" that came from your mouth, he hated water with a burning passion.

Ampharos roared happily before running to the door that Eelektross managed to open, Jolteon and Galvantula ran outside so you got up and went outside with your Pokémon.

You dragged everything Ampharos would need for a good cleaning and you placed it on the sand before grabbing the hose and taking a seat on the porch.

Eelektross turned on the hose and you began to wash some of the brushes, once they were thoroughly washed you handed one to Eelektross, Galvantula and Tapu-Koko who volunteered to help you.

Luxray and Jolteon weren't exactly the best at cleaning using brushes.

"Make sure to stay still or else you'll continue to stay dirty, you'll be super clean after we finish this!" You reassured

Ampharos roared happily as Tapu-Koko and you began to wash him off, Eelektross did the same thing happily as both Jolteon and Luxray ran around each other.

Ampharos waved his arms around joyfully and once he was covered in soap you went to grab the hose as Galvantula ran off of Ampharos and Tapu-Koko carried Eelektross away from the water before you began to rinse Ampharos who was running around in the water.

"I guess we could spend our day outside since we're already here!" You smiled

Luxray and Jolteon got onto the porch as you turned the hose off and placed it on the grass, Tapu-Koko hovered over to you as Ampharos laid down in the sand to sunbathe.

Eelektross and Galvantula seemed to have decided to do the same which left both you and Tapu-Koko to do something that entertained you.

"So! What's the plan with the Aether Foundation? We go in there and shut down things, we subtly see what their doing and then shut stuff down? Are we gonna wait till things escalate?" You asked

"Koko." Tapu-Koko replied

They gestured to your third finger which meant the third option, it shouldn't be too bad to wait till things get worse.

Tapu-Koko formed their fully fledged shell and sat themselves down on the ground, you began to think about what you and Tapu-Koko had.

Both you and them were now linked, you wielded the Tapunium-Z for crying out loud. You heard stories of people being handed the Z-Crystal in times of need but will not keep it permanently and are always left with nothing afterwards.

The island guardian trusted you enough to hand you a Z-Crystal that would allow them to use a special Z-Move.

Something like that is unimaginably sweet, they trusted you? A kid who trains electric types and has good wits and great intentions?

It's flattering to receive something like that, Tapu-Koko could've chosen anyone else to be their trainer. Kahuna Hala could've caught Tapu-Koko!

Tapu-Koko saw something in you, you have yet to find out what exactly Tapu-Koko is seeing and what you aren't.

You heard a caw in the distance and saw a familiar Braviary diving towards the porch, and then a familiar professor running towards the house.

"Y/n! I'm back for the da- why is Ampharos, Eelektross and Galvantula laying down on the ground. Why're you guys outside even?" Dad asked

"Got bored and Ampharos insisted we cleaned him, he's long overdue for a wash anyways so we did so. Then me and Tapu-Koko got bored so we came over here." You stated

"Well, let's head back inside to do something else. Oh! Apparently it's going to rain tomorrow which doesn't sound too fun." Dad informed

"And is that going to disrupt your top secret field trip?" You questioned

"It shouldn't." Dad shrugged

Jolteon and Luxray got up quickly and stretched, the two trotted inside of the house followed by Braviary who flew.

Ampharos got up first and once he realized everyone was heading inside he began to run which woke up Eelektross and Galvantula.

"Come on, Tapu-Koko!" You smiled

Tapu-Koko woke up from the short nap they had been taking before lazily flying back inside, you shut the door and locked it once inside of the house.

Braviary landed on your fathers head and sat there as he looked around the kitchen for a few things, he set down some sort of bag.

"Since we both don't know how to cook too well under a short amount of time, I bought malasadas when I passed an odd Bewear Stand." He said

You took a Malasada out of the bag and bit into it before taking a few more out of it and sharing it equally amongst your different Pokémon.

"Koko!" Tapu-Koko exclaimed

They took the malasada into their shell and began to eat it, whatever went on in there when given food was not your problem.

You were used to it by now, the island guardian really made an impact on what exactly you were accustomed to along with what you liked and didn't like.

Your fighting style even changed, you preferred to show little mercy to opponents and didn't usually try to go easy.

Tapu-Koko made a big impact on your dads life too, he seemed to watch what people did more often and make sure that the Pokémon around him were pleased.
