pov: you have been dating johnny cade for 5 months and its his birthday

it was johnny's birthday, you wanted it to feel special. he recently told you that he hates his birthday because it usually reminds him that no one cares enough to celebrate it, you wanted to show him that you care enough to celebrate it. you woke up extra early and snuck out of bed making sure not to wake johnny. you made your way to the kitchen and prepared a special breakfast for him. pancakes, eggs, bacon, and his favorite, chocolate cake. you were just abt to ice the cake when you saw him walk in. "oh hey johnny" you said, while walking over to him. "mornin y/n, whats all this?" he asked. he looked surprised. "happy birthday!" you gave him a quick kiss before going back to frosting the cake. he walked over and stuck his finger in the frosting, tasting it. he dropped some on his shirt. "well i guess you have to take it off" you joked. he smirked at you before removing his shirt. he took some if the frosting on his finger again spreading it on your shirt. "welp i guess you have to take it off" he said in a mocking tome. you did as he suggested. "hey you wanna know what i want for my birthday?" he smiled. "you." he said bluntly before grabbing your waist and pulling you into a kiss. you smiled into the kiss as he pulled you into your guys' shared bedroom. he pushed you down onto the bed, still not breaking the kiss. you giggled as he fondled with your bra struggling to get it off. he finally got it unclasped and slipped it off of your shoulders. he broke the kiss to admire you before working on pulling your shorts down. he got them off and stood back admiring you.
