Sebastian's Perspective"Has anybody ever told you to shut up, Sebastian?" Ominis asked, scoffing.
"Yes, you do, constantly," I responded, crossing my arms.
"Then why won't you listen? I've heard you ramble about Y/N all day. It's not that I don't like her. As a matter of fact, I like her more than I like you, but seriously, Sebastian! Stop!"
Ominis was right. Every time I ran into Ominis today, I mentioned her at least once. But what was I supposed to talk about? She was everywhere I was. She was the main part of my day. Not that it bothered me, but it just reminded me of what an asshole I had been over the summer, and it was especially a reminder that I would have to apologize soon.
I had to apologize for everything, but how? Each time we spoke, it seemed like she had forgotten about everything I had done, but I knew her well enough to know it was all an act. There's no way that Y/N could've forgiven me for all I had done. She's too good of a person to forget about someone killing their own blood.
Regardless of how odd she was acting, it was my mission to get her to realize I was trying to make a change. I dropped the Dark Arts permanently. I wasn't going to make that same mistake.
No, I would no longer burn the world down for those I loved. I would build it up for them. For my friends. For her.
"Aha, finally, some silence," Ominis sighed, taking a seat at a table in the Great Hall.
I sat down beside him, my eyes instantly searching for Y/N. She was sitting at the same table as us, laughing with our friends. The light from the windows seemed to be directing itself onto her and her only because she was single-handedly lighting up the room.
The hero of Hogwarts.
I must've been staring, because Natty looked over and nudged Y/N for her to look at me. I couldn't look away in time, so I awkwardly smiled. She smiled back, her friends giggling. I quickly lowered my gaze to my plate, my face burning up.
"You saw Y/N?" Ominis asked, fidgeting with his wand.
"How on earth can you tell when something like that happens?" I scoffed.
"You tense up when you see her. I just sense it," he shrugged, serving some food onto his plate. I followed shortly afterward, my eyes staying low.
I cannot believe she caught me staring. It wasn't just her, either. It was all of her friends! Imelda was sure to have a rumor spread by the end of our lunch period.
Lunch came and went, with Adelaide and Samantha seated near us telling us about their summers. They were both really weird. They would laugh at anything I said, regardless if it was funny or not.
Really weird.
Ominis and I got out of the Great Hall quickly to go to our Divination class. As much as I liked Natty's mother, I did not like her class, but I knew Y/N did. That's why I chose it as my elective for this semester.
I led Ominis to some seats that I had strategically picked so that Y/N would either have to sit next to Amit or us. You can picture who she chose.
She took a seat beside me, shooting me a small smile. I straightened out my back, earning a weird look from Ominis.
"Hi, Y/N," he said quickly, assuming she was here from my action. I rolled my eyes, grinning.
