Y/N's PerspectiveSebastian and I casted the disillusionment charm quickly to get out of the Hospital Wing. Sebastian suggested the Undercroft, but I had a better idea.
It had been a while since I last went to the Room of Requirement. I wanted to see all my creatures and visit Deek, but I never really had the time to go check up on them. Besides, it would be helpful to brew a few Wiggenwelds for the trial in a few days.
"Where on earth are you taking me?" Sebastian asked once we were out of the Hospital Wing.
"It's a surprise!" I took his hand in mine and dragged him up the stairs of the Astronomy Tower. It was starting to get dark out, and I realized that I was stealing Sebastian from our Astronomy class.
"Oh, shoot—do you need to go to Astronomy?" I stopped in my tracks, turning to look at Sebastian.
"Not at all," he said, smiling. "No class could ever be as fun as sneaking around."
I laughed and continued my run up the stairs, Sebastian's hand still holding on to mine. I could never contain my excitement when our hands held onto each other; it just always felt right.
"How long is this going to take?" Sebastian whined as he slowed down.
"Not much longer. C'mon, hurry up!" I hauled him up the last few steps of the stairs. Eventually, we made our way to the hall that housed the Room of Requirement.
"Tada!" I said, shaking my hands towards the wall in front of us.
"A...wall?" He asked, raising a brow. "I think that bludger did some permanent damage on you."
"Oh, shut up," I scoffed, walking closer to the wall.
Little by little, an outline of an arch started to form, eventually transforming into the familiar door that I had walked through so many times last year. Oh, how I missed it. I couldn't wait to visit my animals. I had entrusted Deek with them over the summer, and I was excited to see how my baby creatures have grown.
I opened the door for Sebastian, the light from the ceiling making the room practically glow. If there was one thing I loved most about magic, it'd be the Room of Requirement. Sebastian stepped through the door, his jaw dropped.
"What is this place?" He asked in awe, walking past all my bookshelves.
"The Room of Requirement," I responded proudly, closing the door behind me and following behind Sebastian. "Looks like it was expecting us."
I pointed towards the center of the room, where there was usually a table. In its place laid a mattress adorned with pillows and blankets matching our house colors.
There should be a second one around here somewhere, I wondered. There's two of us, after all.
"Why hadn't you mentioned this before?!" Sebastian's smile was huge. He seemed more excited than I was when I first saw it.
"I didn't know if I was allowed to!" I laughed, taking his hand. "Let me show you something."
I led him up some stairs into one of my Vivariums. I opened the door and walked in, and he followed behind. The sun was the first thing I noticed. It was starting to set, and it looked positively beautiful.
"Perfect timing," I sighed. "Come on."
I put my fingers to my mouth and whistled, and suddenly the ground began to shake. I turned around and saw my Graphorn rushing towards us. Sebastian pulled out his wand, preparing to defend himself, but I lowered his hand. I led him to Graphorn, my hand rising to pet its head, its tentacles affectionately petting me back. I had missed it a lot over the summer. I turned to look at Sebastian, who looked petrified.
