Once upon a time, there was a forest of many creatures and a ruler. She was a queen spirit. She had sworn to protect the kingdom no matter what.
One day, the forest was under attack by a lone dragon. The brave queen spirit went out and fought him. As they fought, the dragon attacked the queen, blinding her eye and damaging her wing.
Despite her injuries, she defeated the evil dragon and banished him back to the Dragonite Mountains. Since then, the dragon had never returned.
Unfortunately, the queen lost all sight in her eye and can no longer use her wing. Despite all these setbacks, The queen spirit still rules proud and strong to this day.

"Wow, no matter how many times I read this story, I still can't believe that a dragon still exists." Andy, the young creative elf thought. "Didn't they go extinct hundreds of years ago? And yet one still manages to live on to this day!"Andy then got an idea. "I know no one is allowed to go up the mountains, but no one didn't say we can't explore around them!"
Andy packed his satchel full of plants and supplies and grabbed his quiver and his bow and left his home.
The curious elf walked through the thick forest for a few hours until he saw it. The Dragonite Mountains. Andy was nervous. He could get in big trouble with the queen if he was spotted there.
As Andy walked around the base of the mountains, he heard something. Andy quickly hid in one of the trees and watched the area. As Andy watched the area, something fell and made impact upon the ground. It was a creature.
Andy carefully got down from the tree but stayed out of sight. As Andy moved closer, he couldn't believe it. It was the last dragon and he was injured. Andy watched as the dragon set himself up, holding his bleeding arm.
"Agh shit!" the dragon exclaimed, "I still can't fly... That damned spirit's spell is still in effect." Andy felt bad for the dragon. He didn't like seeing anyone in pain but he needed to leave.
As Andy turned to leave, he tripped on a root, alerting the dragon. Andy quickly hid, fearing the dragon would certainly harm or kill him.
"Who's there!?" The dragon called out. "I know someone's there!"
"Shit! He saw me..." Andy thought as fear ran through him causing his heart to beat so fast that it might leave his chest.
Andy tried his best to remain quiet. Eventually, the dragon lost interest. Andy's curiosity pulled him closer to the dragon. He is looking at an actual dragon.
As Andy watched, the dragon saw him. "Who are you!?" The dragon yelled.
Out of fear, Andy quickly drew his bow. Andy didn't want to hurt the dragon more than he already was. The dragon saw Andy's fear and backed down, turning focus to his arm.
Andy lowered his bow and began to approach the dragon. The dragon watched as Andy approached.
"What in the hell is this kid doing..." The dragon thought.
Andy looked at him, the dragon seemed docile for now.
"Y-your arm... Is it alright?" Andy asked. "Does it look alright to you!?" The dragon shouted in pain and frustration. Andy drew his bow in fear. The dragon noticed this.
"The kid only draws his weapon in fear... He might not be one of that spirit's guards..." The dragon noted to himself.
When the dragon calmed down, Andy lowered his bow. "D-do you n-need help?" Andy asked.
The dragon thought for a moment. "Why?" He asked the elf. "I c-can help... I have some plants that can help your injuries..." Andy informed the dragon. "Fine..." The dragon wearily accepted Andy's help.
As Andy tried to heal the dragon's injuries, he introduced himself, "I'm Andy."
The dragon looked at him. "You don't have to tell me your name if you don't want to." As Andy continued to heal the injured, the dragon spoke.
"Peter." Andy looked at him. "My name is Peter."
Andy smiled, "It's nice to meet you, Peter. If you mind telling me, why'd you fall? I thought dragons could fly."
Peter looked at Andy. "We can kid, it's just that damn spirit used a spell that basically clipped my wings so my wings can't keep me in the air." Andy thought for a second.
"But that wasn't in the story..."
Peter was confused. "What story?"
"The queen spirit has a story about her defeating the last dragon," Andy explained.
Peter was skeptical, "What all happened in this so-called story?"
"Well," Andy started. "The last dragon attacked a part of the forest so she goes to stop him. During the fight, the queen spirit gets injured but still managed to banish the dragon to the mountains."
"It's wrong," Peter told Andy.
"What do you mean Peter?" Andy asked Peter.
"I never attacked the forest. I was just flying over the forest and She attacked Me. I never harmed anyone. When I supposedly attacked her, I was defending myself. Hell, I was scared because she had almost killed me!"
Andy couldn't believe what he was hearing. The queen spirit was the one who attacked him and when he tried to protect himself, she almost killed him. The queen spirit almost killed the last dragon alive...
"Jeez, what am I saying? You're probably thinking I'm lying, being a subject of hers."
Andy looked at him. "Peter I can tell you're not lying. I know when someone is. That's why I came here. I felt like the story was missing something so curiosity brought me here." Andy told Peter as he finished tending to his injuries.
"So you're betraying the queen spirit to find the truth."
"I guess so when you put it that way. I need you to be back here in 60 hours if you don't mind."
Why?" Peter asked.
"So I can make sure your wounds are healing," Andy informed him.
"This kid..." Peter thought. "Alright."
Andy smiled. "Bye Peter, and be careful. Don't get hurt or I'm gonna have to bring more supplies..."
"I'll try, but no guarantees. Bye, kid." Peter said as Andy took off into the forest.
