There stood the Queen Spirit, blocking the way out. She looked stern and angry. She looked at the three of them but looked right at Melody.
"You!" the Queen Spirit said as she grabbed the young fairy who once bravely looked scared. "I thought I made it perfectly clear what would happen if you were caught near that dragon again."
Melody just broke down in the Queen's grasp. "Please don't take my wings! Please, Ma'am, I won't do it again!", she cried.
"That damn spirit threatened to take away a child's wings?!" Peter angrily thought. "She became more messed up in the past 900 years."
"Seize those two while I deal with this one." demanded the Queen Spirit.
The guards wasted no time restraining Andy and Peter. The two watched as the Queen Spirit used her staff and completely removed the young fairy's wings. Melody had cried and begged her not to. The guards then grabbed Melody as the Queen Spirit commanded something that shocked everyone, even her advisor.
"Disarm them and take them all to the final cell."
Andy knew what the final cell was. It was the execution cell, meaning the three of them were just sentenced to execution, commonly done by beheading.
The royal advisor seemed worried. "A-are you sure you want to sentence ALL of them to the final cell? Two of them are just children and-"
"I am certain, Claus." the Queen said angrily.
Claus looked at the three and backed down, "Yes Ma'am..."
"Take them away," she demanded.
The guards grabbed Andy's quiver and bow and picked up Melody's flute which was dropped when the Queen Spirit grabbed her.
As the three were taken away to the final cell, Claus had to talk to the Queen Spirit.
"Ma'am, may I talk to you? Privately?" Claus asked.
"You may, Claus. Guards, you are all dismissed."
When the guards left, Claus asked the Queen Spirit his question.
"Ma'am-" he started but was interrupted.
"Claus, you know my name and are allowed to call me by it," she stated.
"Sorry, Margret. Anyways I have a question."
"What is it, Claus?" Margret asked him.
"Well... Your decision to sentence two children to execution may arise issues and have towards you, Margret. Their families and communities might start to worry if they don't return after some time. They are still very young compared to me, you, and even that dragon." Claus paused for a second. "Margret, what I am trying to say is that perhaps just lower the severity of their punishment. Such as having them serve you in the castle for a few months."
"I will not. Their punishment is deserved. They went against royal orders many times and even broke into the castle to break that damn monster out."
Claus sighed, "Margret, you know I am just trying to help you. You are going to be a suspect if those two children do not return all of a sudden. You know how it will look, all eyes will be pointed at you."
"Claus, no." Margret paused. "I know you're just looking out for me but I've been doing this for 500 years before you were even born. I know what I am doing."
"Are you sure? You make that decision with anger, not logic nor reasoning. Your anger towards that dragon made you put two young lives up for death." Claus stopped. "All of your hot-headed decisions were made when it involved that dragon. Why are you seemingly trying to make his life a living hell? He hasn't hurt anyone or destroyed anything for almost a millennia. Why are you trying so hard to practically kill him?"
