If you ever saw something that you were sure you imagined or heard a sound that no one else did - then you know what it's like to attend a show starring the Novaks.
"A magical act so spectacular, it had to be real."
An oh so common statement after...

Luke,
We are ¼ the way to California. I cannot wait to get there and start the magician school I was telling you about.
I've spent so much of my life on the road but I have surprsingly never been to the golden state.
After being at the farm for so long, it feels wierd to be on the move again but at the same time, it feels comfortable.
I miss our morning chats. I told Henry to bring you coffee when he could. 1 scoop of sugar, 1 splash of cream, how you like.
I've taken your advice and focused on helping my family. "Being the wolf" : )
Cannot wait to see you again! We are on the move, so it will be hard for you to write me. But I will write again!
June
"How the hell am I just seeing this?" Captain Howard flicked the ash off the cigar wedged between his molars and cleared the stacks of papers and files from his desk. He then slapped June's letter to Luke onto it. This would have startled most people, but the man standing in front of Howard was unfazed. That man was Michale Delwick, a relatively young Precinct Zero investigator who had more balls than brains.
Delwick scratched his head as he racked said brain for an answer that would help him not look like a schmuck in front of his captain. "Umm... I think... Ya know, I haven't been on this case for too long." Mission not accomplished.
You could nearly see steam come out of Howard's ears as he chewed through the cigar in his mouth. "You haven't... Delwick, this letter came from the car that was carrying the sorcerer and it's addressed to the farm August is scoping as we speak, and that is when you decide to bring it to my attention? Speaking of August..." Howard leaned his head into the hallway. "Has anyone heard from August? Damn it!'
With his hands in his pockets and a shrug of the shoulders, Delwick shuffled his feet toward the door. "I'll see if I can get in touch with August."
Before Delwick could escape Howard's wrath, he had to endure one last order from him. "If you talk to August, you tell him to get his ass on that farm and bring everyone there to me. No more wasted time!"

The kitchen in the head home of the Masschester Farm was small and dingy, smelled of burnt bread and had a certain greasiness to all the counters that was irremovable no matter how hard Anna scrubbed it. Yet, it became the heart of the Novak family during their time at the home. Where they laughed, shared meals and, of course, had their most important meetings.
This time was no different. The entire Novak family huddled together in the kitchen and feverishly discussed June's findings from her journey.
Josef stood in the center of the kitchen. As the father of the family, he felt it was his duty to establish a direction. "If the masked man is a ghoul king, and he still is roaming around Old Glasgow—"
