For the next week, I continue to train with Cato after normal hours every other day. He is the most aggravating person I have ever met in my entire life. Constantly mocking me, as well as flirting with every thing that has a heart beat, I'm not quite sure how I am going to put up with him for more than a month. And that is pushing it.

The rain is hammering down on the roof of our house, and no matter what I do, I can't sleep. All I can think of is Cato's stupid, ugly face. His irksome smirk. How much I want to drive a knife through his throat.

I should be thinking of more important things, like the pregnancy no-one knows what to do about, or my training schedule leading up to the games. But no. Instead all I think about is him.

Finally, I decide to get up and go to Livia's house. There is no doubt she will be up, even if it is this ungodly hour. She spends most of her time calling her idiot boyfriend, so I'm not really sure how she doesn't get bored. 1 minute with his dull conversations can make me want to end my life.

I clamber down through my window to the ground and fall in a bush of nettles. Not my most graceful landing I must say. The streets of District 2 are incredibly dangerous at night, with the threat of a night-hunter lurking near constantly on your shoulders, and the peacekeepers clad in white being ready to shoot on sight, it's not a very fun time to do a daily walk. The only exception to this rule is The Ladder in the rich district, which is always bustling, but the threat of being kidnapped and used as a prostitute is a too high risk to be there unchaperoned.

Livia's house is only two streets away and I reach there quickly, using the trees as shadows. I'm not taking any risk, it would be embarrassing to die before I'd even got to the games. I scan the wall leading to her bedroom, finding cracks in the wall to climb. I've scaled this wall many times, but I always search to see if there is an easier way up. I start to climb and swing myself up the wall to her bedroom window. The light is on, that's a good sign.

I gently prise the window open and slip silently into the room. Livia is sprawled on her bed, her long legs dangling of the side of the bed, engaged in a conversation on the phone. I wonder who that is.

She sees me and immediately slams the phone on the holder and moves up on the bed so I can squeeze on. I jump on her bed and lie there, before saying," I am in the worst possible mood ever."

Livia smiles and says," I can tell Clove, you look like shit."
Bitch. I scowl at her and get off the bed.
"Do you want to watch a movie?" She asks before grabbing a remote and turning the tv on. I don't usually like watching movies, all they are is Capitol freaks 'acting', but today I could use something to take my mind of stuff.
"Sure, not anything too Capitol-like though". I reply and sit on the small couch next to her bed.

Livia puts on a live adaptation of an old movie called Snow white and it is the worst thing I have ever watched. All it is is a bunch of Capitol idiots flocking around the screen in stupid wigs, dancing and singing. I want to stab my eyes out.

Once the movie has finished she says,"Did you enjoy it? I thought it was quite funny."
I look at her, thinking she's joking, but her face is all serious. Liv and these Capitol obsessions.
"That was the most boring thing I have ever watched Liv. I would rather watch paint dry than sit through another hour of that."

Livia scoffs and turns the tv off before flinging the controller to the other side of the room.
"So Clove, if you don't want to watch tv, why don't we talk about you training partner? He is rather handsome isn't he?" Liv says, obviously day dreaming about his stupid muscles.

I look at her with disgust and say, "Hadley is the most infutiating, annoying and stupid person ever. He is not handsome at all." Thats a lie. Cato is infuriating, annoying and stupid, but he is beautiful. Everything about his body is perfect. I will never admit that though.

"Don't worry Clove, you can have him to yourself. I'm busy with Atticus." She says smiling. I forgot about that idiot.

As she talks about there latest fall out, I go to the window and check outside. Shit. It's already sunrise, and I have had no sleep at all. Training today is going to be hard. I'll just have to take 2 shots of black coffee.

"Livia, I'm going to have to go home, training will start soon." I say and she nods as I climb out the window. The journey back is pretty uneventful unless you count birds chirping. The district is just waking up.

When I reach my house, I tiptoe in and grab a protein bar and a loaf of bread, before getting dressed in the bathroom as to not wake Poppy up. She has too much on her hands with a pregnant teen and a young baby.

As I walk to the training centre, I see an elegant and beautiful deer standing in the trees. How the hell has it got here? The fence around the district is always live, to protect us from wild animals. What is it doing here?

I must be hallucinating. Isn't that what happens when you are too tired? I walk swiftly away from the deer's gaze and head to the huge doors of the centre.
