"Do you think I should die my hair Clove?" Livia says, twirling her fingers in her long, blonde hair. Livia is incredibly beautiful. Beauty is something I do not possess.

"Livia, I honestly don't know, I am definitely not a fashion expert." I say. My fashion sense is worse than District 12's.
"I'm going to do it."
"Okay, good for you."
"Why don't you do it with me?" Livia says smiling.
I roll my eyes. "All respect Liv, but do you know me at all? I don't give two shits about what I look like."
"I can tell." She says, which sets us both of laughing. She can always make me laugh.

"I'm going to practice some hand to hand combat before I have to train with Hadley, see you." I tell her before weaving my way in and out if people to get to the sparring rooms.

To my suprise, I see Hadley already there, fighting with one of the 18 year olds. I lean against the door frame and watch as they kick and punch each other. Hadley's not doing half bad, even knocking the boy to the the floor.

Hadley punches him in the face, which knocks the other boy clean out. I have to give it to him, he is strong as hell. Dumb, but strong. I continue to stare at Hadley, watching him half carry the boy to the bench and placing him there.

He sees me watching him and saunters over, a charming smile on his face. It won't ever fool me, the boy's the biggest dick ever.

"Enjoying the view are we Clover?" Cato says arrogantly, placing his arm on the doorframe I am leaning on.
"You wish Hadley" I say. He is too close to me right now. I can feel his breath against my face.

I slip out of the awkward position towarda a sparring mat and beckon him over. He looks confused for a second before chuckling to himself.

"You want me to spar you Clover? I'll crush you." He says, but walks over to me.
"Don't be suprised when I kick your ass Hadley." I snap. No-one underestimates me.
"If you say so Clover, I am worried only for you." He says almost sincerely.
"Yeah right, you just don't want to get beat by me." I retort. I will win.
Cati rolls his eyes and steps to the other side of the mat.

I lunge towards him, which takes him completely of guard and kick him in the stomach. He lets out a low grunt, but is obvious that it barely affectes him.

Grabbing my arm, he flings me over his shoulder like I am a feather. I wrap my elbow around his neck and pull him with me to the ground. He lands on top, which causes me to cry out as he suffocates me. I shove him off harshly and get back on my feet, which he does too.

Cato tries to tackle me to the ground, but I dodge him and he plummets to the ground. I climb on top of him, grab a knife from my belt and stab him in the leg, which makes his scream in pain.

Fuelled with anger, he punches me in the face, making my vision blurry. I have to win. I have to. I knee him in the balls, which infuriates him even more. He gets up and barrels towards me and pushes me to the ground.

Cato looks down at me angrily and puts his foot on my neck. I am not done yet. I WILL NOT LOSE. I yank his foot off, making him lose his footing and pull him down to the floor.

Before he knows it, I am on top of him with my knife to his neck. I have won. I smirk down at him mockingly and quote him," I'll crush you." He looks at me with a look of so much rage, it almost scares me. Almost.

In a move of pure strength, Cato pulls my knife of his throat and punches me so hard on my temple I see stars. I can feel the world slipping away from me as I go limp.

15 Minutes Later

I wake up, slowly regaining my consciousness. What just happened? I remember challenging Cato and.. Oh. I lost the fight.

I must be in the infirmary. Beds are lined up against the walls and it looks like I'm the only person here. Oh no, there's someone in the bed next to mine. I get up and stetch, worn out from the fight.

"You shouldn't be getting out of bed Clover, you just passed out." A unmistakable voice says from the other bed.
"What would you know Hadley" I snap at him turning quickly around. Too quickly.

My head starts to feel fuzzy again and I feel the world fading away when Cato bolts forward and props me up.
"I would know I had to carry you here while I was limpimg.." I forgot about me cutting him. "And you actually looked pretty ill Clover."
"Well I'm better now, aren't I Hadley"

I don't really feel great but I will not accept he's correct.
"You know Clover, you may hate me, but your gonna have to suck me up for the rest of the year. I recommend being not so bitchy when I help you."
"I didn't need your help. I was fine."
"Of course you were, totally fine knocked out on the floor."
"That was your fault."
"I didn't mean to punch you that hard, I was just mad." He says, his face turning soft for a second. It isn't usual for a career. What is he playing at?
"No shit sherlock." I say sarcastically, which makes Cato rolls his eyes at me and looks down at his leg.

I must have cut it pretty bad as he winces when he touches it.
"I'm sorry I cut your leg." I tell him truthfully.
"What did you just say Clover? Did you just? I might have to record you saying that just so I can replay it over and over to you." he says genuinely smiling.

I turn away. I will not be nice to Cato Hadley. I am already regretting apoligising and I will not be weak. I leave the infirmary, angry at myself. Cato will not be spending anymore time in my thoughts, that's for sure.
