a/n: last chapter of fourth year!!! we've made it, and this year was the last time it's tame, buckle up buckaroos!! This chapter is one of the shorter ones of the stick due to it just being a closer chapter, and setting up fifth year's first chapter but enjoy regardless!!

Dear Voe,

Haven't you noticed the shortness of Ron and Hermione's letters? They've been so secretive that it's getting annoying. I was the one who saw Voldemort come back. And I feel as though I'm the one who should be knowing of this.

I wish we could see each other, because it feels as though we both are on the same boat. But, I'm still forced to be at the Dursley's and you're stuck in your fancy palaces.

Not a dig at you of course, never at you. But I'm just saying...I miss you that's all. He's getting stronger, I think we both can agree on that.

I'll hope to see you at the end of the summer - sooner is my preference but nothing goes my way, does it?

Yours,
Harry

Violet sighed and smiled at the newest letter. She pulled out a box from under her desk that was appropriately named Harry's Letters and put the letter in the box, neatly on top of all the others Harry had sent the past couple of weeks.

Hedwig hooted and nipped her fingers affectionately, and rubbing her head on the quill Violet abandoned.

"I'm working on it Hedwig." Violet smiled, feeding a grape to her. "Seems like I'm the only one who's bothering writing full novels and not little sheets huh?"

Violet glanced at the last letter Hermione had sent her, only containing about thirty words, before she glanced at the Daily Prophet that had arrived early this morning (and that she stole from Raven).
