Harry knew that Hermione meant well, he really did. But it didn't help that Harry was beyond upset with her. He had been the owner of the best broom for just a few hours, and then it was taken away from him. And he had no clue if he would ever see the broom again. He was positive nothing was wrong with the Firebolt, but what state would it be in after all those tests for jinxes and curses?

Ron was probably even more angry with Hermione than Harry was. As far as he was concerned, what Hermione had done was a criminal offense. So Hermione now resigned to avoiding the common room as often as she can. Ron and Harry supposed that she taken refugee in the library, and didn't even try and get her back.

All in all, the friendship was ruined, and Violet would end up coming back to a mess. However, Harry was sure Violet would agree with him and Ron that Hermione was in the wrong, and nothing was wrong with the broom.

How wrong he was.

"YOU ARE THE WORST FRIENDS EVER!" Violet yelled storming into the common room the night she came back. "YOU ARE SERIOUSLY THIS MAD OVER A STUPID BROOMSTICK?! AND THOUGHT IT WAS ME?! HOW IDIOTIC CAN YOU TWO BE!"

Harry and Ron were genuinely terrified of her that night. Violet yelled at them for a solid thirty minutes in both english and welsh before she stormed back out.

"Merlin, she's scary." muttered Harry.
"Your the one who has a crush on her. And Hermione probably lied when she got to her first, she'll come around." Ron said, although he too looked like he wanted to faint from the sight of her angry face again.

Violet did not come around, in fact she made it her life's mission to snub the two boys whenever her and Hermione came around, and had now taken liberty to hang out with Aubrie, Ginny and Hermione.

Wood decided to sought out Harry when he came back, looking awkward.

"Had a good Christmas?" he asked, sitting down but not waiting for an answer. "Look, I've been doing a good thinking and what if the Dementors come onto the field again? We- er -"
