"FAMILY MEETING," Danielle runs down the hall." AND NoT JUST THE RUFFILOS !" She exclaims.
"What's this about, " Aliyah comes out of the door way rubbing the sleep from her eyes.
"I don't know but the boys look like they are dragging ass" I yawn.
as we all trudge down the stairs, Aliyah and I in the front.
"What's this about Danielle, it's seven AM ?" Nicholas yawns.
"well, we are doing stuff today because it's the last day you guys are here. So GO GET DRESSED, shower do what ever you need to do. we leave at 9 am" she skips over to the fridge. "Oh and I'd wear tennis shoes or boots."
"Is she always this peppy in the morning?" Aliyah asks.
"YES" Noah and Nicholas responded.
"that's...terrifying." I say dragging myself up the stairs.
I got ready for the day, not knowing what Danielle had planned ahead.
"Are we gonna take two cars?" Aliyah asked as Danielle Broke into a laugh.
"No, we are gonna take mah van." She smirked.
"I didn't picture you driving a van Danielle." I said.
she opened the garage door to reveal nothing more than a minivan.
"OKAY, jolly, char, Nicholas in the back. Noah, up front. Lilly, liyah and folio in the middle. Questions? Good." She nods her head as we pile in.
"Are you gonna tell us where we are goin Dani?" Noah asks. "Are you driving us somewhere to kill us all?"
"not yet but you and Nicholas know exactly where I'm going." She smiles.
we drive for about twenty minutes or so.
I had listened to the boys' banter and liyah screaming to the lyrics of whatever song was playing. I hadn't noticed that Charlotte, hadn't spoken the entire time.
"How are you doing back there char?" I yell past the boys.
"FINE" she laughs. I take the aux cord from Aliyah and start playing the one song that would put everyone in the van in a good ass mood.
the downfall of us all by a day to remember.
"this is for the girls" I say before hitting play.
"This better not be what I think it is" Noah turns around to glare at me.
"It isn't."
I smile wide as I hear "duh duh duh duh duh." Start playing.
Folio, Nicholas , Aliyah and I, start singing immediately.
"LETS GOOOO" Aliyah growls.
I look at her nodding my head in approval.
after that song had ended I put on one of my personal favorites- slaughterhouse by no one other than Motionless in white.

Noah slowly turns his head looking at me like he didn't know me as I start screaming along with Chris.
I get weird stares from everyone in the van.
Nicholas , Aliyah and jolly singing along with me as Noah is still turned looking at me, as if he was waiting for something.
"IN THE LAND OF THE FREE YOURE A SLAVE TO YOUR WEALTH" I sang out as all of the boys' eyes got wide. "BLEGH" I rang out.
"THATS MY FUCKIN GIRL." Noah cackles.
Nicholas claps as we continue the song.
"I have to hear her do that again!" Jolly exclaims.
"I didn't know you could make a sound like that-" Aliyah turns to me.
"ONE MUTILATION UNDER GOD" I screamed.
"BLEGH" I had done it again this time unassisted with the music.
"HELL YEAH GIRL" Danielle said from behind the wheel.
we had sang song after song until finally, Danielle pulled into a wooded area with gravel parking spots.
"We are going hiking." Danielle opens her door.
"I knew I brought my camera for a reason." Aliyah smiles.
"Well, let's get going then." Charlotte grabs jollys arm.
we start heading up the trail each of us observing something different.
"are you gonna say something to him?" I whisper to Noah.
"do you really want me to say something, that bad?" He rolls his eyes.
"Yes. Because both of you are stubborn. me and liyah feel guilty for hanging out when you two have beef" I say. He walks a little slower, trying to catch nick.
Aliyah caught up to me but not too far away to where we couldn't hear the boys.
"look I'm sorry man." Noah puts his hand behind his back. "For what I said about Lillian and the way it upset you."
"I'm sorry too, for punching you in the face, even though you deserved it." Nick nods.
"I did deserve it. Are we good?" Noah asks.
"Yeah man. We're good." Nick replies pulling Noah into a hug , patting him on the back.
"Aweee look they made up." Aliyah nudges me.
"It's about damn time." I continue walking.
I notice Aliyah start to take out her camera, taking photos of the forest around us. The colored leaves were immaculate.
I loved seeing her in her element. Aliyah became a different kind of person when taking photos.

"hey," Nicholas jogs beside of me.
"oh, hey." I smile, "you okay? You sound a little winded." I laugh.
"Little bit. Bet you can't carry me." He stops
"OKAY bet. Get up here" I say motioning him to get on my back.
"Oh shit, you can do it. Shit shit shit. Don't drop me lil." He shrieks
"I'm not gonna drop you nic." I cackle.
"I didn't know that worked that way" jolly points.
"Put me down." Nicholas chuckles.
"Now I'm tired." I say wiping the sweat from my forehead. "NOWAHHHH"
I run toward him and jump on his back.
"I don't have a girlfriend, I have a personal backpack." He rolls his eyes.
"NIIICK. My feet hurt too." Aliyah makes a pouted face.
"fine but, you owe me something." Nick says.
"And what is that nick?" She puts her hands on her hips.
"Uhhh boyfriend tax? Duh?" He puckers his lips. Aliyah gives him a peck on the lips.
"You won't drop me right?"
"No."
"Promise ?"
"Pinky swear." Nick says holding out his pinky, inter locking it with liyahs.
"Are you two done?" Jolly asks as he walks with Charlottes hand in his.
"so, are you guys ever gonna go on tour again?" Aliyah asks.
"Maybe, there is something in the works." Noah hints.
"it may be a tour, it may be a new album, you will never know" folio shrugs.
"GUYS! We've made it" Danielle says putting down her backpack.
"Made it where?" Nicholas throws up his hands.
"to this spot, shut up and follow me. ladies first." She bows dramatically. We step through the brush and trees to a clearing with an outlook.
We all stood in an excited silence, staggering our breaths and taking in every moment.
"wow." escapes Noah's lips as he fastened his arms around my waist.
"It's magnificent. The view. It was worth the hike." I say turning to Danielle.
I look into the distance, thinking about everything that had happened in the last two years and how my life was just - better.
The truth was, I wasn't ready to go back to the west coast. I could stay, here, with them. Forever.
