"It's right here," you said, motioning to the bathroom door. Vegeta quickly shoved his way past you, grunting as his shoulder brushed against yours. He slammed the door behind himself and leaned against your sink, gripping the white counter until his knuckles were almost the same color. He glared at himself in the mirror as he spoke.
"Damned woman," He hissed under his breath. "Messing with me like this! Who does she think she is?" He thought of you running your hands down his arms again and bristled. He placed his hands on his hips and, making his voice barely a whisper, began to mock you while continuing to stare at his reflection. "You're rough with me in training, I wonder what that would correlate to in the bedroom? PAH!" He turned on the faucet and cupped his hands, splashing his face with the cool water. He smacked around for the hand towel before gripping it tightly and drying his face off.
"Had we just been in the palace I wouldn't have cared! But I can't do anything with her damned parents around! Why the hell would she even pick now to do this? Is she messing with me? The damn moons are making me act like a fool!" He slammed his fist down on the countertop and cracked it slightly. "Shit!"
You could hear him cursing from outside the bathroom door, and you leaned into it carefully. "Vegeta? Are you alright in there?" You tapped against the door softly. "I'm sorry if I upset you."
He was currently trying to repair the counter and making it significantly worse. "N-No woman, I'm fine!" He instead dropped a bag of coins on the sink before he could snap the edge off and stepped out, closing the door behind him quickly before you could see the damage. "I believe it's time we let your parents get some rest."
You poked his chest and as he looked down you dragged your finger upwards and flicked his nose. "You need some as well, my prince."
He quickly held his nose in his hands and glared at you, "How dare you-"
"I'm sorry if I went too far and ruined everything."
He simply rolled his eyes and rubbed his nose. "You apologize too much. Knock it off."
"Sorry."
"WOMAN! QUIT!"
"OKAY S- GAH!" The two of you made your way down the hallway again and back to the main foyer before the prince stopped in the doorway of your old room. He glanced in, eyes adjusting to the lack of light.
"Is this-"
You quickly cut him off before he could finish his sentence. "I thought you wanted to get home?"
The prince smirked, that twinkle in his eyes again, "so it is your room."
"Please don't-" it was too late, he was already inside, flipping the light switch on and glancing around the room as his smirk grew.
The room itself was small, with a twin sized bed and brown walls that matched the rest of the house. Across from the bed was a child sized bookshelf, filled with books like "Conquering my First Planet," or "The Magic Saibamen Bean." You had pictures lining the walls and a small desk with a notebook and some pencils scattered along it. Then, you realized, to your horror, what exactly the one notebook left out was. Vegeta snatched it up and grinned mischievously as he looked over the simple and worn leather cover. Burned crudely into the center of it was your initials.
"What could this be?"
Your tail began to puff up and twitch as your nerves kicked in. "Put it down!"
The prince glanced at your tail before his eyes met yours, another smile tugging at his features. "Given your expression, I'd say something important. Why don't we read a few chapters?"
