David walked to the far right side of the ring and got into a his fighting stance. I looked up and saw that the clouds in the sky had parted and the sun was shining intensely.
"This is a monumental mismatch, Justin." David said.
Justin looked at David. "I'm sorry?"
"Come on." David joked. "This girl - does not stand a chance."
Justin scratched his head, looked at me and I mouthed "He's joking." I smiled at him.
David smiled back. "You have no chance, Raelin." he continued.
"Aw, sure you do." I replied, smirking.
"T-that is not what I meant."
I continued to smirk, waiting for David's usual quip.
"What's the matter?" I asked. "Cat got your tongue? No more words to fail? Run out of-"
"Can we fight now?" he asked.
"As soon as he says so."
I looked at Justin, whom seemed to be confused by the display he was hearing. He looked at me, wondering why I was staring, then it hit him.
"Oh, oh," he realized, "You may begin."
David and I turned towards each other and immediately attacked at high speeds.
"Where'd they go?" someone in the audience asked.
"It appears that Raelin and David have- oh wait, there! Up there!" Justin shouted.
David threw kicks at me, which I easily dodged. I grabbed his leg and threw him to the ground. He flipped in mid air and caught himself.
"They've vanished again." Justin announced.
I punched David in the face, he kicked me in the back. Then I was suddenly blown away by a strong wind.
"Try a little harder." David advised.
"I'm just getting started." I replied.
I charged him and swung a haymaker and he suddenly vanished. I searched frantically for him, until..."Over here." David's voice said.
I charged him again and David threw me to the ring. I flipped in mid air and landed softly, but my foot spontaneously began screaming in pain.
"W-what is this?!" Justin said.
Confused, I looked up and saw a yellow light around David's finger. David moved his hand upward and then brought it down. A thin beam of flames came from his finger and went straight for me at an alarming speed. Before I could react I was hit dead on. I was sent flying and hit the tournament house.
"Out of bounds." Justin said. "The winner of the tournament is David."
The crowd cheered. David landed next to me and helped me up.
"How the hell did you beat me again?" I asked him.
David didn't have that much of a sense of humor when it came to fighting, but I could tell my question amused him.
He smiled at me, before walking away. "Come," he ordered. "We need to collect our money."
"Yeah." I followed him and we went to the back of the tournament site, where they gave me $10 million. They gave David about $50 million. Lizzy was waiting for us at the exit.
"You did good." she said, though it seemed like just thinking it made her sick.
"Thanks." I responded, feeling good since it was her who said it.
