Barax trudged on, step by step, in an unknown direction. Vin hitching a ride on his back.

Vin finds himself frequently fidgety. He taps his feet in a rhythm onto Barax's back to release the urge to move about.
"I have a hankering for some Ale. We should go to a tavern!"  Vin clapped his hands enthusiastically at this idea.  He slid a hand into his bag. "I seem to have 2 silver left.  Oh, and, not Gwen's. Anywhere but there."

"I avoid any gatherings.  I want to be alone!"  Barax's voice a booming loud thunderous sound.

"Ok Grumpy Bear.  Though, I'm certain a couple Ales will cure that sour mood of yours."
Vin only received a grunt in reply.
"I'm gonna drain the snake.  I'll be back."  Vin felt a growl rumble throughout Barax's body.
Shimmying down off the bear, he stepped aside to take care of business.   Barax didn't stop to wait for him to finish.
Thats alright, he's so slow, catching up will be no problem at all.
Wow, the clouds are so white and puffy today.  How do they stay up in he sky like that?

Finishing up, Vin dashed his way back to Barax's side.
Humming to himself to fend off the awkward silence.
Until, a white hot stinging pain erupted within his tail. Whipping around, he discovered an animal close to his size with his tail in its jaws!
"Ahhhhhh!!!" Screaming in pure fright and pain.

The animal let go of his tail and fled into coverage of the forest.

"What. The Fuck. Was THAT!?" Vin sounding stricken, his facial expression full of horror.

"That was an ordinary ferret. Nothing to get bent out of shape over." Barax was unconcerned about the ordeal.

"My tail!!!" Vin cradled his tail in arms. "My beautiful tail! It's damaged!"

Scoffing, Barax didn't hide his annoyance. "It didn't even break the skin, you're not bleeding. Get over it."

"Get Over it? Get over it!? It could have ripped my tail off!" Vin shrieked.

Rolling his eyes, Barax made the decision to ignore the dramatic weasel. He didn't want to feed into the nonsense anymore. It was a concrete and viable plan. Until he felt the irksome critter haul himself onto his back once again.

Standing up and balancing on Barax's back, Vin obnoxiously cleared his throat. "Ahem! From this day forward! Ferrets are my nemesis! They are evil, and I will loathe them forevermore!" Vin grandly nodded his head after his speech, as if there's audience before him.
That traumatic event has left me hungry and sleepy.

"Hey, Barax, want to settle down for a nap?" Stretching out his back, he let out a groaning yawn.
He was shocked when no rebuke spouted from the bear.
Instead, Barax laid down next to a boulder. Vin could hear the bear's bones creaking and cracking as he adjusted into a comfortable position.

Vin circled three times before settling into Barax's fur. He felt so warm and snug, it didn't take long before he drifted into a deep sleep.

He awoke smacking his lips, his mouth entirely too dry. His eyes gradually opening as his sight adjusted. Once his sight restored to full capacity, he was gripped by fear..
I'm not on top of Barax anymore. Why am I on the ground? Where is Barax? I don't see him!

Vin frantically circled the area, No Barax. Grabbing and pulled at his ears in worry, Vin tried making sense of the mysterious vanishing .
How did I lose a giant Grizzly Bear? Where could he be?
