After the events of the Sports Festival, Izuku and his class were told of an internship that they were to take with pro heroes. Here, they would learn how heroism is truly done in a professional manner from those on the job. Thanks to a deal made, Endeavor had offered Izuku a spot to train along with Todoorki. Meanwhile, Iida begins to struggle with the sudden attack of his brother and is warned by Izuku to be cautious of what he is about to do.

Izuku POV:

We finally arrived at the Endeavor agency to be greeted at the door by the receptionist. As we were walking in though, I had a bit of an irritated rant with Todoroki over his ridiculous claims of Fishmen and merfolk. "Dude, just give it up with the fucking difference spotting with the Ryugu kingdom and humanity! It's not something you need to dive so deep into and find out. Quite frankly, you're starting to now piss me off with making it seem like my fiances are some kind of cannibalistic monsters."

"I'm just asking if they would eat their young like normal sharks would."

"Normal sharks wouldn't eat their young unless theirs no other source of food and put in a starvation scenario. Just because they hold similar features to sharks though, doesn't mean they're a hundred percent like sharks." He finally stopped asking questions for us to stand in the elevator quietly. Once we got to the top floor, the door opened for a woman with flaming green hair to speak to us.

"Hey Shoto. How ya been?"

"I've been managing, Burnin. Is my father in his office?" The woman named Burnin held her thumb and pointed back in the office. When she did, she glanced over at me.

"You're that kid that almost won the Sports Festival, right? Must suck like hell knowing you lost right at the end because of a technicality. HAHAHA!" The woman kept laughing as if it was some kind of joke for me to be kinda annoyed. "Anyway, Endeavor told me that you're hanging with me since he wants you both to learn from two different parts. We're going on patrol in the next ten minutes, so suit up and we'll be on our way." I didn't mind this with Todoroki kinda looking a little surprised.

"It's not that deep, man. Your old man agreed to let me intern with him, not teach me. To be honest, I could care less if he teaches me stuff since...it's not as important that he teaches me stuff."

"That sounds a little more like sass to an adult, kid." Burnin said this for me to just walk into the changing area and come out in about two minutes. Since she was already set, we walked out and began a patrol. While on the streets, Burnin started asking me a little of my personal knowledge. "So what do you know about hero patrols as well as how we're paid?"

"I know that you're paid by the government depending on the type of job you do, property damage, as well as the severity of the job. If there's more people involved, then that pay is distributed evenly on how large the role in the task it was. Patrols help as a way to be on the scene of an incident as quickly as possible as well as give an air of relief to the people. Knowing that heroes are around would also deter people from committing crimes that are determining if they should or shouldn't because of fear of getting caught. The ones that normally do commit crimes are those that don't care if they're caught or not-"
