15 years later

"let's go claire and maddie." meredith yells as her 8-year-old and 6-year-old daughters run down the stairs.

"you two look beautiful," she says taking in both of her daughters.

"do i look like a princess mommy?" maddie asks with a cute toothless smile.

"you look like the most prettiest princess in the world" meredith exclaims. "and so do you claire"

"ok, now we are just waiting on the boys." meredith sighs. "hurry up elliott chase and jackson james"

"mom must be mad, she used eli's full name" claire snickers.

"i told dad we would meet him there in 30 minutes. we really need to start making our way out the door if we want to be there on time" meredith explains just as her 4-year-old twin boys walk down the stairs.

"sorry, i couldn't get my shoe on," jackson says.

"no, it's all good." she smiles. "ok burrow family, ready to head out?" meredith walks out of the house and helps each of her kids in the car. then she starts driving.

a lot has happened since joe won the super bowl 57. a few months after the super bowl, joe proposed to meredith. he took her to all the spots they went to during the best summer of their lives, before finally getting down on one knee at the beach during the sunset. her mom painted the sky that night to let meredith know that she was there too.

about a year and a half after that joe and meredith finally got married. they had a perfect ceremony with all their friends and families, that didn't leave a single dry eye in sight. meredith ended up having two slow dances. the first one was with her dad, who wouldn't stop crying or stop calling meredith perfect. the other dance was with sam since he has been a huge part of meredith's life for so long.

the couple then decided to spend the next few years traveling during the off-season. they traveled all across the world and embarked on adventure after adventure. it was such a fun few years of just joe and meredith.

after a few years of traveling, they decided to settle down and start a family. they both knew that more than anything in the world, they wanted to be parents. 9 months later, little miss claire rose burrow entered the world. they decided on the name claire, after meredith's mother. it was love at first sight when joe and meredith finally got to meet their daughter.

2 years later, they ended up welcoming another little girl to their family. madelyn ella burrow made her appearance bright and early one morning. they decided to give her the middle name of ella because of meredith's best friend ella. that way her daughter has a piece of her best friend everywhere she goes.

joe absolutely loved being a girl dad, he was the best at it. the girls brought out the best in him, but deep down inside, he really wanted to have a son, so that he could teach him everything he needs to know about football. to their surprise, meredith became pregnant with identical twin boys.
