Chapter 13 ~All New~

"ALL CATS OF RIVERCLAN PLEASE GATHER AROUND THE WET ROCK FOR A CLAN MEETING!" Soot called; cats gather around a bit confused but waiting to hear the news they sat. I sit beside Twilight, Hope, and Thistle, as Soot sits a bit nervously on the rock, "I have gotten news that Mitsuri'Star has been killed..." Soot said dipping his head, "Starclan has sent a message to two of our cats to inform us of her passing..." he began, cats dip their heads in respect, "before I begin my journey to the moonstone I must pick a new deputy..." Soot said, suddenly Soot's pupils dilated all the way, he was quiet for a moment but when his pupils returned to normal, he looks a bit shocked, "Starclan has just spoken to me... they wish for the deputy to be Mud'Cloud..." he said looking to me, I zone out to see a white cat next to Soot nodding, "please take your spot on the rock," he said, I look to twilight and Thistle and walk up to the rock, I sit on the smaller part of the rock a bit surprised, I see the clan is shocked, "is that the first time Starclan has chosen themself?!" I hear shocked whispers, I sit nervously, "I will make my way to the moonstone after collecting my herbs from med, until I return Mud'Cloud will be in charge, Meeting dismissed," Soot said, "I guess Starclan has a plan for you," Soot said, "I guess... Good luck on your journey, and be careful..." I say, "I will," he smiled nuzzling me, "Did that just happen?" Thistle asked, "I think it did..." I mutter and zone out again, "We will protect you and your siblings... Soot'Tree will be safe on his journey, splattered will not be harmed anymore... and your other Thistle'Winds and Oak'Heart will also be under our protection... but in exchange for this... you need to help us," A white cat said, "with what?" I ask, "You need to kill Echo'Moon," Another cat said appearing next to the first, "Ember'Star...?" I mutter as I see the unforgettable cat, "you will be trained by Coco'Pelt, the best warrior in the clan's history," Ember'Star said, "I will do anything to get rid of him..." I say, "please send him to dark forest... for us..." a smaller cat said appearing, "Dapple..." I mutter, "Mud!" Soot called; I snap out of the daze seeing a white cat, his eyes are white, and his body is littered with light grey scars, "Are you alright?" Soot asked, "yea... I'll explain when you're back." I watch as Soot walks away a bit warry, Twilight warps his tail around me, "let's go rest," he smiled, I nod and follow him.

I watch as Soot leaves for the moonstone, "Starclan protect him..." I mutter, there's no response but I see Twilight'Dawn and Mud sneaking out the back of the camp, I laugh and shake my head.

~This chapter is short sorry next chapter will be longer so it should make up for this one <3~

~the next chapter might take a bit to come out depending on how much stare testing crushes me~
