THE MYSTERY OF THE LOST CHILDREN

No Where to Run

In the morning the friends gathered in the living room, Samantha and Anjelica told them about the strange encounter with the ghostly children, they decided it was time to leave the mansion as it was obviously haunted ,and they could no longer risk staying.

But the million dollar question was how could they leave with the only bridge to town destroyed and no signals on the cell phones. 

Suddenly they could hear a woman's  voice coming from the basement, They started to hear other  strange noises coming from the basement. They couldn't quite put their finger on it, but it sounded like the muffled cries of a woman.

Lizzy and Rory tried to brush it off and convince themselves that it was just the old house settling. However, Alex and Samantha started to hear very clearly the noises as well. 

Alex and Samantha decide to investigate the noises in the basement. As they descend the stairs, they could hear the noises getting louder and more distinct. They finally reached the basement and found nothing out of the ordinary. However, as they were about to leave, they heard a voice.

It was the voice of an old woman, and she sounded scared and in distress. She was calling out for help, but they couldn't see anyone. As the Woman saw them both she leapt towards them. Alex quickly grabs Samantha's hand and runs towards the basement stairs leading upstairs. Alex then quickly closes the door. Someone is pushing the door with full force.

They all quickly run through the hallway, they can hear footsteps following them, the woman from the basement grabs Lizzy's arm but she manages to shrug her off, they are all running like crazy and suddenly stumble upon a secret passage.

As they crawled through the passage, they could hear strange whispers and footsteps echoing through the walls. The passage seemed to go on forever, and they wondered if they were ever going to find the end of this passage. Suddenly, they heard a loud creaking noise, and the floor beneath them gave way.

They tumbled into a large room, filled with cobwebs and dust. The room was dimly lit, and they could see a strange glowing light coming from the corner of the room. As they approached the light, they realized that it was coming from a strange orb hovering in the air. the orb seemed to vanish into thin air.

In the room there were piles of paperwork and photos, there were suitcases stacked upon each other in the corner. They all decided that they should stay in this room till the the woman from the basement goes away .

Samantha and Anjelica trying to find clues to the mystery mansion and go through the paper work and photos, while Alex and Rory decide to check the suitcases. Lizzy is assigned to keep a loo out next to the door.

Samantha suddenly realizes there is a deep and evil mystery to the Mansion and it's occupants.

The papers show letters from families who had responded to the free holiday advertisement from the  family living in the  Mansion .

The advertisement was offering free board and food for families with new born babies to enjoy a week in the Mansion and the surrounding lush green gardens, it seemed like the an offer not to be refused.

In the advertisement the host family wanted to give back to the community the love they had received by helping families of new born babies ,so that these families could forget the stresses of life.

The friends immediately suspected that this generosity was motivated by something malevolent. Things started to add up, the suitcases were of the families arriving in the Mansion.

None of the items in the suitcases had been used , it was as if the owners had simply vanished.

The mystery began to unravel when it was discovered that the lady of the house was unable to have children of her own. As a result, she embarked on a relentless path of pure evilness, enticing unsuspecting couples to the home and mysteriously stealing their infants.

The friends were shocked and sickened to the core , this woman was pure evil and her obsession to have children led her on a trail of destruction. They still did not know what happened to the families of these infants and how did she manage to convince the world around her that these children belonged to her.

What was more intriguing was the fact that all these souls were trapped in this Mansion, the photos of the family who lived in the Mansion suggest that they all died at a young age, there were no signs of the children past the age of childhood. There were rumours in the town that the family had met with an accident , the cause of which lay deep in the graveyard, What was in the graveyard?  Where did the families of those innocent infants go?

May be the families were led to there death and buried in the graveyard. Alex and Samantha were convinced that the missing headstones were actually the missing families.

The friends still had to figure a way out of the mysterious room and where it would lead them, as they opened the door there was no sign of the ghostly lady , they took the opportunity to make a dash for their lives.

The ran as fast as they could running through hallways and staircases and finally reached the main door. The only way out seemed through the cemetery, they ran for their lives, dodging tombstones and weaving through the cemetery. They could hear the noises  getting closer and closer, and they knew they had to find a way out.

They spotted a gate at the end of the cemetery and ran towards it, hoping it was unlocked. They reached the gate, and Alex tried to push it open, but it was stuck.

The noise of footsteps were getting closer, and they could feel their icy breath on their necks. Suddenly, Rory had an idea. He grabbed a nearby flowerpot and threw it at the gate, breaking the lock.

All five of them raced out of the cemetery through the gate while gasping for air. When they turned to look, they noticed what seemed to be ghosts in the mist.
