Quick A/N - Hey all, I know I'm updating really slowly but please be patient, I am aware of how slow it is and it is making me a little anxious, I just have a lot going on atm and am really struggling to find my motivation (I also have ADHD so I tend to get distracted and leave it until last moment) My old book I did I used to write two chapters per month whereas now I only write one; but they are twice as long which I'm hoping will make up for it. I'm just worried that the fandom will die before I get to finish. I hope you understand. Anyway, enough sad shit now, and onto the story! (not really any happier lol) Okay, you can stop reading now. Read the book. STOP READING THE NOTE AND READ THE BOOK. Wow you disobedient piece of shit, you just don't stop do ya? (Just kidding I love you all, peace out 😘)

General POV

Clem sat upon the small, chipped mahogany chair, her posture hunched over slightly. Her right leg bounced against the wooden floor, shaking the whole chair. She could hear a muffled wailing of some sort, but it was overshadowed by the sound of her own heavy breathing. Her dark hazel eyes darted around the tops of the dead oak trees, slowly beginning to grow their leaves back, the sky was overcast and grey, then her eyes clocked on to a particularly, large, luminous cloud that was slowly heading closer towards the school. Her foot continued to bounce as her worried eyes made her way down to the floor, still barely any walkers, was that a good sign or a bad sign? She didn't know.

"Em?..." A feminine voice echoed, her right eye twitched ever so slightly, but her head stayed turned towards the outside world.

"Clem!" The woman with a southern voice shouted, she jumped as she turned to the right, the wailing she heard before was clear now as she looked down at her distressed, screaming baby; and then back at the voice that just yelled her name. It was Bonnie, only her torso and head visible as she held onto the short wooden pillars on either side of the ladder, her ginger hair was in a tight bun, making her grey more prominent. Her blue eyes looked Clem up and down, she looked anxious, shy, and worried for some reason. Clem continued to look around confused, her eyes were wide and disorientated. She was on the lookout tower?

"Clem, Jesus Christ, are you all right?" Bonnie asked concerned as she finished climbing the tower, taking a few steps closer to the chair where Clem sat, her infant continued to wail. Bonnie put her arms out to help, getting closer to Diana. Clem stood up suddenly, her frightened demeanor was instantly replaced by a furious one.

"Get the fuck away from my baby." She snarled, shoving past Bonnie brutally, knocking her into the rickety railing as she rushed down the ladder.

"Clem I just-"

"Just fuck off Bonnie!" She snapped loudly, then quickly yet carefully made her way down the ladder one-handed. She looked down at her crying baby, rocking her gently, Clem's eyes drooped with mental exhaustion.

"Shhhh, shh shh, shh, it's okay sweetpea, mommy's got you, mommy's here, it's okay." Clem pleaded, her voice high-pitched with desperation.

She looked up from her baby and went around the courtyard, Willy and Omar sat on the main steps of the building talking, and Aj sat at one of the large dinner tables by himself, coloring a picture, his little legs kicking under the table. Gabe sat on the outdoor green armchair on the far right, sharpening his knife with Javi.

But she couldn't see Louis, she couldn't see Ruby, or Tenn, or Aasim. She began to feel anxious again. She felt a hand grab her right shoulder, causing her to flinch, her free hand instinctively went to grab her knife, but when she turned her hard gaze softened.
