الحمد لله رب العالمين و الصلاة و السلام على رسول الله وعلى آله وصحبه أجمعين فا أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

All praise and gratitude be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds, and blessings and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah, and upon his progeny and all his companions. Thus, I seek refuge in Allah from Shaytan, the outcast. I begin with the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Continuously Merciful.

In Volume-01 of "Beginners guide to Islam", very important religious matters such as "What is Islam?", "Declaration of Faith", "Basis of 'Faith' and its articles", "Belief in Allah" which includes "Tawheed" and "Shirk" were discussed in details and the clear evidences from Quran and Sunnah were presented.

As mentioned above, this volume only includes the matters of belief. If one says that this book represents the belief and ideology of a muslim, then it is true. Not just this but the 2nd and 3rd volume of the book will only include the matters of Islamic creed as well. The reason of it is because, to a muslim, the most important knowledge is the knowledge of 'Aqidah, which is the Islamic creed. Therefore, I will cover the matters of 'Aqidah first, then I will move onto issues like necessary manners, description of obligatory actions in Islam and basic laws. If we look into the Quran and the order of its revelation, we will see that the Quran calls to Tawheed and the other matters of Imaan first. So from this, we get the understanding that the first knowledge a muslim must seek is the knowledge of 'Aqidah (Islamic creed). It is recorded in "إجابة السائل" that Sheikh Muqbil Bin Hadi Al Wadi (may Allah have mercy on his soul) said:

"إن أهم العلم هو تعلم العقيدة"

"Verily, the most important topic of knowledge is learning the correct 'Aqidah"
