I have been dreading this day to come.

Today is my birthday. But why don't I feel happy about this particular annual event? It's because the seven Demon brothers I share a roof with would all try to get on my nerves by taking turns and spending limited time with me.

Every year is the same, and this year is no different. They were already planning how they'd get my full attention to their 'needs' as a means of my birthday presents. It's much more suited for their birthdays than mine, but I never have the heart to say no to them.

"Happy birthday~ happy birthday to you, dear Y/N~" as these all-grown Demon men sang to me after breakfast. Lucifer had to make an early run to Purgatory Hall to get this cake Luke and Simeon had baked especially for me.

"Hurry, make your wish, and blow out the candle before Beel enters his rampage mode!" Levi shouted next to his orange-haired brother. He also noticed his brother's voracity was about to take over.

I saw Beel eyeing my beautiful strawberry frosted cake with drool flooding his lap.

So, I quickly made my wish, 'I wish to be able to rest in peace today!' and blew out the candles.

With zero seconds to spare, Beelzebub lept up, crawled on top of the table, pushed all the dishes off the floor, and made his way to the cake in front of me.

"NO..." everyone shouts simultaneously as if they have forgotten this is customary for food-related events.

They took a month to come up with their scheduled time by having a competition using one of Levi's games that was supposedly so hard to play with, even for Levi's level. Mammon won the first round and got the first schedule. He was so happy that he couldn't stop boasting in front of his brother's faces until Lucifer had had enough of his idiocy. The eldest Demon then put Mammon in charge of breakfast and cleaning duty on my birthday. So that was what we did...

He asked me to help him make breakfast, and then I also helped him with some of the house chores because "this is the only time I get to spend time with you."

After Mammon's time was up, Levi next picked me up from the kitchen and brought me directly into his room.

I did predict what we were going to do today. A video game. Just like every other birthday I had, we always hung out to play in Levi's room. But this time, he said it was something more momentous because the game we would play was his own creation. It was a solo-player dating/RPG kind of game, where the player has to build up a relationship with the heroine (which is me, unsurprisingly) to finish the game. He dedicated everything he built up to my existence here in the Devildom, and he even went out of his way to use his brothers as enemies.

So I had to sit in his room for 2 hours just to watch him use me as an object in the world he created. I have never felt so used and violated in my life before.

After Levi's turn ended, Satan knocked on his door... no, he barged in after the third knock, almost breaking the door down in the process. As much as Levi wanted to fight Satan back for his merciless action, he chose not to abandon my 2D version instead of coming after the real me.

Satan ignored him and proceeded to take me to the library. He said he found an activity we would both enjoy.

"Let's choose our favorite books and swap them," he announced excitedly. "We will have fifteen minutes each to choose, then we'll meet here again."

I didn't particularly pick my favorite book since I was too exhausted to find one. Instead, I closed my eyes and picked randomly on the fiction section.
