Chapter 56

Janay's POV

Between Kacey's birthday weekend and Jaden's sex drive. I'm tired as fuck. I don't know where in this apartment we haven't had sex. Him better enjoy it while it last because once my belly get too big him affi go use him hand. 

"Babe?" I heard Jaden calling me. I was in the kitchen fixing myself a fruit salad.

"Yes babe"

"I have a short business trip in Miami for the weekend. I'd like if you accompany me" he said.

"Why? It's a business trip, next thing me stuck inna one hotel room by myself doing nothing fi the whole weekend."

"Your such a pessimist. Why yuh affi always think the negative first? Your coming or not?" he asked.

"Thanks for the invite but I'll pass. My body need rest"

"Alright then but on Sunday we have a date. So be prepared" he said.

"Ok boss man" I replied and he chuckled.

Jaden went to work, the kids were at school and finally I have some peace and quiet. You could literally hear a pin drop.

Can imagine when dem two pikney ya born? Me must mad to rasss!

Worst if dem love chat like Shay. Me ears dem must nyam off tpc.

Jaden and his mom is a big help and I'm thankful for that because Jace especially is a handful at times. 

I'm definitely tying my tubes after this. I don't want no more kids. Four is more than enough.

Come to think of it Sharayne she just gone off the grid. I haven't seen or heard about her.

She might pop out of nowhere again and me affi go pop har rass this time!

Shay is doing quite fine without her and I would like it to stay that way.

I want a peaceful environment for my kids and if that makes me selfish. I don't care. Blood or not, Shay a my pikney. I've been responsible for her over two years now. Sharayne want to be a mother sometimes and Shay deserve better. 

Nuff time me want run weh left dem enuh, but as dem gone a dem granny. Me miss dem. That's the thing about being a mother, It's not a part time thing. 

This morning they told me they want Spaghetti and meat balls for dinner. I can bet is some cartoon or Youtube they saw it on because I've never cooked that before. I plan to go to the supermarket later to get the ingredients though. 

Jaden's POV

I was at the jewelry store picking up the ring. It was custom made and shipped here. I'm planning  to propose to Janay this Sunday after I return from my business trip. I told her we were going on a date, so she have no idea. The venue and everything was already paid for, we just need to show up for the big moment. 

"Dawg is a bloodclaat rock this" Andre exclaimed when he saw the ring.

"She deserve it enuh, I swear"

"Fi real man Janay a good girl. Me soon affi go come get my ring to enuh" he said.

"Di right move ya make enuh, yuh nuh see we a get old? A time fi settle down"

"Who a get old? Yuh no see me a young youth. Me not even have grey hair" he laughed.

"Me nah look pon you enuh"
