Third person:
The bell rings signifying the end of the day. Nijiro and Sora pack up and head outside towards her bike. Stopping at her bike she asks, "You want me to drop you off at home or are you walking."
"Can I come with you to see Naomi-chan, I kinda want a drink or something. Plus, apart from Hisako-Chan she makes the best rice balls in the world". She could practically see the drool coating the corner of his mouth as he licked his lips with a happy sigh.
Sora stares at him with an amused smirk, "Didn't you steal a burger from someone after eating the fries, pasta and chocolate pudding from the cafeteria."
"Your point," he scoffed. "There's no such thing as not enough food, because according to my calculations y-," Nijiro said, mocking the voice of those TV nerds.
"Okay I get it," Sora interrupted with a slight chuckle. Nijiro shrugged with a smile, "You know I've realised food that's been freshly made is more delicious than one you've gotten dropped off from like takeaways and that, you know what I mean.". She stares at him for a while and can't help the fond smile as she looks at him.
"Yeah I know what you mean," Sora said as they both arrived in front of 'Baby'. Grabbing the helmet that was hanging on her handlebars she turned to look at him, "Do you want me to go to your house first so you can get changed or are you fine in that?"
He checks himself and shrugs his shoulders, "Yeah, I'm okay. Not like my parents will care if I show up or not. It's not like I want to deal with their bullshit anyway." Nijiro suddenly smirked, "Plus don't you think this outfit suits me," he pretends to flip imaginary long hair over his shoulder.
"You wear it well, tell me how you do it. I could never pull off such a style," Sora exaggerated while winking at him jokingly.
"Anyway... Sleepover?", She questions with a slight smile in his direction.
He grins at her in response.
She reaches up and ruffles his hair before hopping on the bike, she passes him the helmet, "Here, put this on. You need it more than me,"
"What's that supposed to mean?" He asks in fake offence while quickly strapping the helmet to his head.
Sora shakes her head, with a quiet chuckle, "It's just to protect your precious hair, sweetheart". He gets on the bike behind Sora and wraps his arms around her waist, leaning his head on her shoulder as she starts the motorcycle.
"I'm glad you've finally noticed the preciousness of my luscious locks, darling," Nijiro grinned before they zoomed off towards Itokan. The wind flows through her hair as they ride through the streets of Sannoh, Nijiro props his head on Sora's shoulder.
"Have you heard anything from Noboru-San recently!?" He shouts.
She frowned as she replied, "No, he requested no visitors and they won't tell us when he's getting out!".
She's worried about him. After he asked for no visitors a bad feeling appeared in her gut, and she couldn't seem to shake it off. She doesn't like not knowing what's happening to him while he's in jail, and something about him asking for no visitors felt wrong. She understands him wanting to be alone though. He lost everything after the incident, he lost his scholarship, his girlfriend, his freedom. This life isn't fair to anyone. If only he knew he still has a family to come back to, a family that's worried.
