No words were exchanged as they walked away from Itokan. Cobra stared ahead while occasionally glancing in Sora's direction, Sora just stared around at random things hoping Cobra would start talking already so she could go back.

Not because the walk with Cobra was awkward but because if Chiharu really did have to go, she wanted to say goodbye. He grew on her in such a short time like an infection you couldn't get rid of, the least she could do was be there while Yamato let him go.

Finally Cobra spoke, "Is this what made Yamato so jittery last week?" he asked calmly.

Sora looked at Cobra from the corner of her eye while keeping her gaze straight forward, "Maybe," she said, shrugging a shoulder. She couldn't tell if he was truly angry or not, which should've made her be cautious with how she was acting but the only thing that kept her from actually panicking was that she knew he was more disappointed than anything.

Somehow, she found that worse than him being angry.

Cobra sighs and stops walking, he turns to face Sora with a slight frown, "I understand you want to stick by Yamato because he's your brother but I'm trying to protect Sannoh from any unnecessary trouble," Cobra said with a sigh.

"We can beat Oya, that I'm sure of, but causing issues with them could make the other gangs in SWORD to think of us as arrogant. Then next thing you know, they might want to have their shot at us as well" he lectured. He walked towards Sora and stood in front of her, "Yamato is one of my best friends but I'm not going to shed any unnecessary blood for someone from the opposing side".

She nods her head in understanding while making eye contact with him,"I get that, but you have to see it from Yamato's perspective. He saw someone who was defenceless against a group of guys that looked like thugs so he acted on his instincts. And it's not just that, Yamato may have not said it straight out, but I know that he cares more deeply than he should because the situation reminded him of Noboru". As Cobra tenses at the mention of Noboru, Sora looks to the ground with saddened eyes while continuing to explain.

"He couldn't help Noboru so his mind told him he could at least help Chiharu," she explains quietly. Cobra just stares at Sora for a moment, unbeknownst to Sora his eyes soften for a brief second as he looks down at her.

Once Sora lifts her head to look up at him Cobra turns back towards the direction they were heading, he replies cooly, "That doesn't give it an excuse," then before walking away he says, "Noboru would've agreed".

Sora watches him walk away silently. Turning back towards the way to Itokan, she thinks about what would've happened if Yamato had just turned Chiharu down on the spot instead of bringing him to meet the gang. She couldn't think about it too much since her phone started ringing.

Taking it out of her jacket she saw the caller ID name, Junko. Answering the phone she puts it up to her ear, "Hel-". She doesn't even finish her greeting when she gets interrupted by Junko.

"Oya's on their way to the diner!" she quickly informs.

Sora's eyes go wide in shock, "What?" she asks in disbelief.

"Yes! They're on their way now, be careful," Junko confirms.

Without even saying goodbye Sora hangs up the phone and rushes back to the diner hoping to get there before Oya.
