Chapter 6

It was time for Baizhu to leave, and I'm absolutely not excited about it. I want him to stay.

"Well I'll be heading off."

"Goodbye."

I waved him bye and he got in the carriage. It began to leave all the way back to Liyue.

I sighed as I watched him leave.

"And there goes your boyfriend."

Rosaria said from behind me.

"I know, what a pity."

Kaeya added.

"Well it's time to get back to work."

Diluc spoke up.

I nodded, and walked with him back to the tavern.

"How long has she been gone?"

"For about 4 months sir."

"Where could she have run off to?"

"I do not know sir. But if I had to take a guess, I would say she's living in Mondstadt right now. It is the closest city to our lab."

"Mondstadt hm? That is a good place to start."

"Alright then. We shall go look for her in Mondstadt, and if we find her we bring her back before her mom finds out she's missing."

"Of course sir."

"We will take a course to Mondstadt first thing in the morning."

"Very well then. Now get moving, we have a big day tomorrow. And by "first thing" I hope you mean 12:00 am."

"Yes sir."

"Mondstadt... that's where she most likely is... Oh dear Y/N you can run, but you can't hide."

"The tavern is really busy today huh?"

Diluc nodded.

There were customers going in and out, while others stayed for awhile.

I quite like the hustle and bustle of the customers that come by, but it's mainly because that's the more Mora I get later on.

Until it was time to close up the tavern we stayed endlessly working.

I breathed a sigh of relief.

"The day is finally over."

"Not yet we first have to drive the four drunkards out of here."

I turned my attention to my three friends Kaeya, Lisa, and Rosaria. And then I turned my attention to the short male bard.

He originally came just to sing a couple songs saying he didn't want to get drunk today. And yet here he is unconscious in the tavern... drunk.

"Don't worry I'm sober enough to help them leave." Rosaria slowly stood up from her seat.

"You sure?"

I gave her a concerned look and she nodded.

She carried the bard on her back, and she wrapped her arm around Kaeya on her left side and Lisa on her right. She slowly walked out of the tavern, leaving Diluc and I left to clean the tavern.

Once we were finished Diluc turned the open sign to the closed side and we exited the tavern.

It's around 11:00 pm right now, and I felt unsettled.
