After me and my cousins got off the bus they showed me the way to the office. I felt confident on my first day. I was ready to experience the American school system. The lady in the front with her obnoxious loud heels led me to the principals office where he greeted me and I understood most what he said. He handed me a few papers to start and at the school map. It felg like a nightmare. So many classes and under five minutes? I might as well run to each of my classes. Another thing he mentioned was a student from here is going to tour me around the school and show all of my classes. A good ten minutes have passed with him talking, I didn't even pay attention to him most of the time. Then I heard the door open. I looked behind me to see the person that I saw on the bus stop this morning. I glanced at him a second and smiled as a nice gesture, first impression are important. Then I stared back to the school map. He sat down next to me and I felt him looking at me. My stomach felt a little weird, maybe cause of the breakfast I had. In my mind, I just wanted to talk to him, so I looked at him and said.
" Nice to meet you! "

" nice to meet you too!"

I thought he would continue the conversation and we would talk a bit longer. Instead I felt all sweaty and my heart was pounding louder each second. I didn't know what was happening. I never experienced this before. Suddenly the principal let the person show me around school and as he opened the door I smelled his sweet but yet sour and strawberry scent. Anyways enough of smelling, he showed me around. I was confused and questioned how people get around. Each second felt like a movie, like the ones from the 2000's with the high schools. After the tour the bell rang and he proceeded to tell me to follow him to our class. I felt extremely excited for my first class. What was it going to be like. I felt nervous but thrilled.
