chapter 16

jaspers pov :

we both hopped off of our bus onto our neighborhood, we were walking and behind us were julli and her friend, again snickering and giggling behind us while we were walking to the park. We thought that they were trying to follow us but they took a sharp turn to the right after we were crossing the street.

So then we arrived at the park, there was a tennis court , basketball court and a playground that's all. There wasn't that much people today. We had the whole basketball court to ourselves too. It was nice and peaceful outside. Choi wanted to shoot hoops and see if he still has any game. I just stared at my Twitter feed scrolling. a bunch of controversy tweets, fan wars, and the pop news that is basically my daily newspaper.

For the rest of my time I was looking back and fourth at Choi and at my phone. I grabbed out my book since I was placed at a cliff hanger. I turned the page and looked up to see Choi looking down at my book.

S : " what you reading?"

J: " nothing, just some pride and prejudice."

S : " cool cool, by the way do you have any water?"

J : " I think so?... "

I checked my bag to quickly see and grabbed a barley sipped water bottle I forgot I had this morning. I gave him the bottle and he was chugging it and was out of breath, he grabbed some water and put it on his face and hair and went back to playing basketball. I just wanted to scream, he looks so good with that wet messy black hair of his and how it shined under the April sunshine. I was at lost of words but you know what I'm trying to say.

As I read my book and flipping the page he visibly looked tired, he plopped down and sat next to me, grabbing the water bottle and pouring it on his face. I looked over to see his silky glass skin like, he doesn't look real to me. That's just crazy, how can someone BEAUTFUL as him exist. I just stare at him for a while and he looks at me with a confused face and he laughed it off. He just, makes me happy, you KNOW?!?

anywaysss after the basketball thing we still had a lot of time to kill, it was like what 4:12? We headed over to the store right next to our neighborhood. It also has a Starbucks inside of there! I walked in and went straightaway to Starbucks. My usual order is a tall iced coffee with caramel and a birthday cake pop, I should really stop consuming sugar.. Choi ordered a iced americano??

J : " you like americanos??"

S : " yeah! It's really popular in Korea, I always get it whenever I go to a cafe.

J : " bizarre.."

We both laughed and enjoyed our time here. Genuinely for the first time today I actually enjoyed hanging out with a friend, or even going with a friend. We looked around and saw the plushie section. Choi grabbed one and told me to take a picture of him. I took several shots and just admired looking at him in the photos. I hit myself in the head and got distracted.

Today was good, I actually made a friend that I can trust, and an potential lover. But that's way too soon. I head back to my place after we hung out and I went to my bed and screamed on my pillow, I lay there looking at the celling, my heart was pounding from running and my stomach was filled with butterflies. I closed my eyes and daydreamed about him and fell asleep.
