chapter 21

jaspers pov :

2 weeks after the sleepover

So after the sleepover.... Me and Choi got awkward most times than usual. But that doesn't matter right now. I'm still crushing on him so hard... I'm acting so delusional around him too. We both are going to take the bus to go to the mall today... and I keep thinking in my head we're going as a couple.. and we're dating.. just imagining that makes me giggle and laugh. I've been thinking about him nonstop. It's crazy how much I care about him.

Anyways enough of me being delusional! I'm getting ready to go on my " mall date " teehee!
I'm just going with a basic outfit, nothing too crazy or anything. As usual I walked over to his house. I just was wondering, wasn't he a transfer student?... isn't he supposed to leave to Korea after this.. I was just going crazy. I can't think about that now. I just want to think about us right now. The time that we have together.

He just came outside the door the second I arrived to his house.

" hey jasper!" Choi said to me as he ran towards me and gave me hug.

" h-hey!.. sorry I got surprised, anyways let's head to the bus!.. I Replied back to him.

We kept talking the whole way through our way to the bus stop. We ran since we only have two minutes to get there before it arrives. We sprinted and he held my hands to go faster. I got distracted by it but I didn't give up and ran. We entered the bus and sat at the back catching our breathes. He looked at me with his hair pushed back from his sweat just looking at me.. I kept staring and my mouth was wide open.

" is there something wrong? Haha" he jokingly said while looking at me.

" no thing, I'm just out of breath." I replied back

He shrugged it off and didn't bother me, I was just staring off to space just thinking about us, together. I was so in love with him it wasn't even crazy. I was crazy but, it doesn't matter. I decided to lay my head onto chois shoulder just trying to relax. He didn't move and he put his head onto mine, I glanced at him just giving an smirk. We already did this before but I'm still a little surprised. But my heart kept racing for some reason. I was breathing heavily but not noticeable.

I could feel his glasses rim on my head. He kept smiling about this too. I wanted to ask him if he wanted to listen to some music but, I built up the courage and sighed.

" hey do you wanna listen to music while we wait?" I said to him.

" sure why not." He replied back.

I lended him my other earbud and we sat there listening to my music for ten minutes. It felt like we were an actual couple, it just feels such a surprise to me he's so close to me. We're friends so it feels awkward to me but not him.

I kept trying to stare at him, he was looking at the window next to him. I just wanted him to notice me at least. Then out of nowhere he tapped my shoulder and said to me.

" it's been really fun with you lately, your such a awesome person." He said while giving me a bright smile.

" oh, sure anytime! Your welcome, you also a really awesome friend too." I replied him while I gave him a smile.

I was just trying to cover my face cause I was so embarrassed. I was just waiting for our stop.
We waited for a while and then we finally made it to the mall. First we had to cross some streets and walk into the mall. We walked and walked, for a while and my legs were getting a little bit tired. We finally made it inside, he looked surprised and he just followed me anywhere.

I really didn't know what to do at the mall since, I don't know what to get. I walked to hot topic first since I was just looking around, he looked very shocked to see how dim it was. He kept looking around and he was just in awe.

We looked around and I found nothing unfortunately, but for Choi, he found a T-shirt of a hedgehog. He said he just needed it. He walked outside that store happily. So we also wanted some boba too, we just walked over to the boba to get something, I got just got a mango lemonade with some lychee jelly, Choi got an regular milk tea. We both sipped on ur while looking around and window shopping.

I took some pictures of choi just to tease him a little bit, but I've been looking at him the whole time, he just looks so good, it's unbelievable to me. But I have to keep it cool, just for a while, I have stop thinking about that and just focus on now. I decided to be dumb again but why not, I grabbed his hand and swinger it back and fourth to be silly, he chuckled and just went along with it.

We've been looking around the mall, it's been really fun, the store that was most memorable was probably Sephora since we kept using and smelling all of the perfume samples that we couldn't even smell anything. It was too funny really, I noticed his glasses was tilting and I pushed it back for him. He smiled at me and went back to looking around.

We went back to the bus stop and we ran too, it was exhausting and we were both tired from walking and running around all day. We entered the bus and sat next to each other. He was scrolling on his phone looking at the pictures we took, he was smiling at all of them, I hid my smile and I was just looking at the window sipping on my drink. He relaxed his head on top of mine and I was still the whole time trying not to move.

After we walked back from the bus stop we headed towards our houses and he stopped me before I could say bye to him.

" today was such a blast, thanks so much again Jasper." He said to me while he smiled at me.

" anytime, you made it more fun." I replied back to him. 

Then he gave me a hug and I was startled but I hugged him back and he waved to me and I ran to my bedroom to scream in my pillow. I was blushing so hard. I wanted to scream more but I didn't want to be loud. It was such a crazy day today.
