Chapter 15 : Buying Time

The sky in Adventure Bay became cloudy, as thunderstorms began flashing by the clouds. 

However, things do not seem going well than before, as explosions and chaos just happened in the whole city. Everything became haywire. 

As for Ryder and the pups, along with the cats, were seen fighting against Rover, which proved to be a hard time for them, since Rover is very strong for them...

Rubble threw a super strength punch towards Rover’s face, but Rover simply blocked Rubble’s punch with one paw. Rover was not fond by this, then threw him  hard aside. 

Rocky then launched several energy wrenches from above towards Rover. Everest quickly froze Rover’s legs to prevent him from moving anywhere. Rover looked as the energy wrenches all hit on him at the same time, creating an explosion. 

Rover cleared the smoke beside him with just a wave on his paw, then mocked: “Pathetic. Is that all you mutts g-“ 

Before he could finish his sentence, Leo and Wild came over and sucker punched him on the gut, launching him backwards. 

Rover quickly created a portal from behind him and tried to sneak attack the two cats from behind. Everest saw this and shouted at them: “Behind you!!”

Wild and Leo were too late to realise as Rover quickly threw two energy punches at them. Before they could hit on them...

He was suddenly got launched away from a high pressured water geyser coming from his left. Rover then crashed on a huge rock heavily. 

When he looked back, he saw a chocolate labrador pup standing in front of him. It was Zuma who fired the water blast. 

“You-“ Before he could even move, his legs got tangled by plant vines coming from the ground. Rover then got slammed on the ground by the plant vines numerous times. He grunted in pain. 

Tracker then slapped him on the face with a huge plant vine, launching him to the sky. 

When Rover looked up, he saw Ryder flying towards him in front of his vision. Once he was in front of Ryder, Ryder then pummelled him continuously with his metal armour fists, finally axe-kicked him hard down towards the ground. 

As soon as Rover crashed on the ground, he looked up as he saw Ella grew in a huge size, lifting her paw and stomped him hard, resulting in shaking the whole lookout. 

“Nice one sis!” Tuck complimented. “Thanks, but-“ Ella then looked down as she then saw a bright purple light coming from her paw, gradually glowing brighter and brighter. 

Before they could know what’s happening, Ella’s paw was seen being pushed back by a huge burst of energy. 

“Graaaaaaaaah!!” Rover growled as he began pushing back Ella’s paw with his strength. The next thing everyone knew, Rover released a huge mass of purple energy shockwave from his body and everyone around him got launched back hard. The shockwave shook the entire lookout once again. 

“Did you really think...you could defeat me with that?!” Rover said as he looked at the Paw Patrol in front of him. 

“He still has that much power in him?!” Rocky grunted. “Everyone, at this point, we cannot give up...we have to defeat him, and save everyone out there!! That is our top priority!!” Ryder said. Everyone nodded and got back up again.

“I assumed that you’ll say that.” Rover grinned. “I’m surprised that your will of fighting and your spirit of never giving up have not even dropped one little bit. I’ll give you that.” Upon hearing this, the pups just growled at him in response.
