Jennie was stretching as she was getting ready to race Lisa.

Keeping her loafers on and standing for the start, shows that she has no intention of taking this seriously.

While Lisa was just standing next to her, waiting for her to get ready.

She smiled and looked down at Jennie who was ready in position to run. "Anytime you want."

Is this match just a pretext to join the club?

Jennie peaked up to see Lisa.

I can have a serious match with Lalisa after she joins the club.

She took a deep breath and nodded at Lisa.

When I win I can get her to join. Now is the time to go all out. And soon I can welcome her.

They counted to three and were off, but Jennie just stepped foot to run while Lisa past her in a flash and stopped a mile away from her with dust surrounding her.

Jennie stopped as she saw Lisa already over there, her back to her.

To those who put in effort to shave even a few seconds off their time, this scene must truly seem absurd.

Lisa turned around to face Jennie. "Sorry, Jennie."

As Lalisa said that her scarlet eyes seemed tinged with sadness.

Jennie looked at the spot Lisa ran from and saw her shoe print.

A burning smell came from the soles of her shoes. And a mark left over from her breaking.

Jennie looked down, she fisted her hands.

And thus my dream was crushed.

Lisa started to make her way towards Jennie with a gentle smile. "It's really hard to control my strength. Something like this can't be put on an official record. It's just as you see."

Jennie just stood there as Lisa was in front of her. "Therefore, I cannot join the track and field club." Lisa told her gently.

"...not fair..." Jennie whispered.

"Eh?" Lisa was surprised at Jennie words and her eyes widened as she saw Jennie expression.

"You had so much talent...more than anyone else..and you get along with many people.." Jennie said as she wiped away the tears that were spilling.

"And now...that will never come true..." she sniffed. "That's...just not fair."

"Wait! Jennie!?" Lisa panicked as she tried to comfort Jennie who kept crying.

She pulled her in for a hug and patted her gently. '...What do I do now?' Lisa thought. 'A girl's tears....'

Lisa walked Jennie to the resting area again, as Jennie finally calmed down a bit from her crying session and is now hugging her knees as she sat while Lisa looked at her. "Have you calmed down?"

Jennie was sulking. "It's embarrassing to lose." Lisa chuckled at her expression.

"That means it's true that you became a vampire....my one dream lies in ruins..." Jennie mumbled.

"Jennie..it's true that I'll never join the track and field club," Lisa leaned closer to Jennie so she can see her better. "But I can entrust you with it." Lisa smiled at her.

Jennie blushed. "Jennies dream is my dream. My dream is also your dream." Lisa told her.

Jennie started standing up as Lisa also stood up and moved in front of Jennie. "...That's a pretty heavy thing to say."
