"Stop playing games mane." Ben sucked his teeth at Yb as they sat in the basement.
"Like forreal?" Ben asked and Kentrell nodded. "Yea puss ass boa' thought I wasn't gon do him nun. Mane I punched his shit." Kentrell finished telling his story of his fight in prison.
"Like do he know we know where his whole family stay at?" Ben asked causing for Kentrel to chuckle.
"That ass whooping was good enough. He ain't say shit ta' me since then." Kentrell said making Ben laugh.
"Yo screws real loose." Kd sighed, rolling a blunt, tucking the weed in.
"A lil', I'm tryna tighten em a bit." Kentrell replied nonchalantly.
"Clearly you aint tryin' hard enough." Ben mumbled, looking away.
"Aye, you dreamed bout ole girl?" Ben asked, wanting to change the subject.
Kentrell sighed before shaking his head no. Kentrell never thought he'd be the one to have hallucinations about a girl, but here he was. Hanging out with his friends, talking to them about the gorgeous girl he saw in his dreams.
But he hadn't heard a thing about her since the night he came home, which was three days ago.. it wasn't like her. She wasn't like any other hallucination or voice Kentrell had experienced. She felt real to him, as if she was a part of his life.
"She be everywhere I go, She would talk to me and comfort me... ion know why she hiding now." Kentrell sighed as his friends listened. All his friends knew about his hallucinations, they didn't believe they were real but the fact Kentrell was seeing the same girl for years had them invested.
