Kamari had spent the past few days busy handling business with her family. She was too busy to the point where she hasn't had a chance to talk to Kentrell. Witnessing Kentrell's schizophrenic episode had left her both deeply concerned for him and unsure of how to proceed. But as the days went by, her worry for him only grew stronger.
Meanwhile, Kentrell found himself in a restless state of overthinking. The memory of the episode haunted him, and he couldn't shake the feeling that he had scared Kamari away. He paced back and forth in his penthouse, his mind a whirlwind of self-doubt and anxiety. The silence around him only amplified the chaos within.
"Yo, you good?" Montana asked, leaning against the doorway and interrupting Kentrell's thoughts. Kentrell's gaze snapped to him, his expression tense. "Hell nah, Ian good," he muttered, running a hand through his dreads.
Montana raised an eyebrow, concern flickering in his eyes. "You still thinking about that night?" Kentrell nodded, his jaw clenched. "Yeah, can't seem to get it out of my head. She ain't been around since."
Montana stepped into the room, his voice gentle. "Maybe she just needs some time, you know? That shit can be overwhelming for someone who ain't used to it."
