Her mind raced, filled with concern for Kentrell and the recent schizophrenic episode he had experienced. The drive back to Kentrell's penthouse was filled with an uneasy silence.

Kamari stole glances at him, noting the exhaustion etched on his face. The vibrant energy that usually radiated from him had been replaced with a fragile vulnerability. She couldn't help but feel a wave of guilt, convinced that her choice to bring him to the loud and overwhelming club had triggered his episode.

Upon arriving at the penthouse, Kamari parked the car and turned off the engine. She walked with Kentrell all the way up, providing him the support he needed.

"Oo shit. This is nice as hell." Kamari whispered making Kentrell laugh. His penthouse was a luxurious sanctuary, a stark contrast to the chaotic world they had left behind.

"Oh um this way?" Kamari asked pointing at the hall as she led him to his bedroom, carefully guiding him to his bed.

The bedroom was dark, but the open blinds and city lights brought light into the room. His room had shades of grays and slight blues. The large bedroom and bathroom connected, but no door present.

As Kentrell sank onto the soft mattress, he looked up at Kamari with tired, yet grateful eyes. The weight of his condition seemed to weigh heavily upon him, and Kamari couldn't help but empathize with his struggle. She sat down on the edge of the bed, her voice filled with compassion.

"Kentrell, I'm so sorry about what happened at the club. I never meant for it to escalate like that. I take full responsibility for causing your episode," Kamari confessed, her tone laced with genuine regret.

Kentrell's gaze softened, and he reached out to grab Kamari's hand.

"Don't blame yo' self nana. You didn't cause dis. It's something I been dealing wit' for awhile. It unexpectedly happens, and tonight was one of those nights. But you was there fo' me, and that means more den' you know."
