6 months later

Luke and Leia were halfway to two years old already, they have achieved so much in such little time it was emotional for Padme and Anakin. They're already walking better than any baby they've seen before and Anakin can sense a huge amount of power in them both it's indescribable.

Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala sat in their private garden on Naboo, watching as their twin children, Luke and Leia, played in the grass.

The sun was shining down on them, casting a warm glow across the garden. The air was filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers, and the sound of birds chirping in the trees.

Anakin and Padmé watched as Luke and Leia run around, exploring the garden and picking up anything that caught their attention. They laughed as the twins tried to eat the flowers, and smiled as they babbled to each other in their own language.

Suddenly, Luke looked up at his parents and said his first word: "Mama."

Padmé's eyes widened in surprise and delight, and she scooped Luke up into her arms, hugging him close. "That's right, my little love," she said, kissing his forehead. "I'm your mama."

Leia, not to be outdone, looked up at Anakin and said "Dada." Anakin's heart swelled with pride and joy as he picked Leia up, holding her close. "That's right, my little princess," he said, kissing her cheek. "I'm your dada."

Luke and Leia continued to babble and coo, their little voices filling the garden with happiness and love. Anakin and Padmé played with them, tickling them and making them laugh.

Anakin and Padmé watched their children with wonder and amazement. They knew that this was just the beginning of a lifetime of adventures, of laughter and joy and love. And they knew that they would always cherish this moment, the memory of their children's first words and the knowledge that they had been there to witness it.

Anakin and Padmé watched as Luke and Leia played, smiling as they babbled to each other in their own language. Since Luke and Leia had said their first word, Padme and Anakin were eager to teach them more.

"Okay, Luke," Padmé said, holding up a book. "This is a book. Can you say 'book'?" Luke looked up at his mother, his eyes wide with curiosity. He babbled something in response, but it wasn't quite the word Padmé was hoping for. "Good try, Luke," Anakin said, smiling at his son. "Let's try again. Book." "Boo," Luke said, his voice filled with excitement. "Close enough," Padmé said, laughing. "Good job, Luke!"

Leia, not to be outdone, crawled over to her father and tugged on his pant leg. "Da-da," she said, looking up at him with a big smile. Anakin's heart melted at the sound of his daughter's voice. "That's right, Leia," he said, scooping her up into his arms.

Padmé continued to teach Luke new words, pointing to objects around the room and encouraging him to repeat after her. Anakin did the same with Leia, holding up toys and asking her to name them.

As the day went on, Luke and Leia began to pick up more and more words. They said "mama" and "dada" with more frequency, and they started to say other words too, like "ball" and "dog."

Anakin and Padmé watched with pride and joy as their children learned and grew. They knew that this was just the beginning of a lifetime of adventures, of learning and growing and discovering new things.

And they knew that they would always cherish this moment, the memory of teaching their children to speak and the knowledge that they had been there to witness it.

After a long day of speaking with Luke and Leia and putting them to sleep, Padme and Anakin layed next to each other, feeling each others warmth. "Can you believe they're already walking and talking?" Padme said with a huge sigh. "You don't seem to happy my love, what's the matter?" Anakin said, much worry in his voice. "Nothing, I'm just worried for their future, you're going to be training them to be a Jedi in nearly two years which could put them in extreme danger and they're growing faster than I expected." Anakin sensed much fear in Padme, he didn't want her to worry when he can protect them from any danger. "Everything will be just fine Padme, I'm here to protect you all."

Padme felt reassurance in Anakin's words and slowly fell asleep in his arms. Anakin pulling her closer and closer and finally falling asleep too.
