A/N: The monsters but with human forms>>>>

At first, she only saw darkness, thinking that it was another room similar to the one where she first met Screech. As her eyes adjusted, she noticed that it wasn't completely dark. The hallway had a faint teal glow to it.

She started walking down the hall, before...

It appeared.

A tall, glowing figure appeared in the middle of the hallway, blocking her path.

"Turn around."

A voice echoed throughout the hall, sending shivers up her spine. She decided to listen, turning around and walking in the opposite direction. After a few moments, it appeared again, repeating the same thing. She turned around, once again, and started walking in the opposite direction. This time, she got further, a few steps away from the empty door frame in the middle of the hall, before it appeared again, repeating the exact same thing.

This continued, until she was almost at the door leading away. Just as she stepped forward, her foot caught on something.

There was a broken picture frame lying on the floor.

And then she was falling forwards, landing with a soft thud against the carpet.

"Ouch..."

She muttered, groaning quietly from the sharp pain in her ankle. She was about to push herself up, when she stopped. The creature was right behind her.

"Tch...  you humans are so clumsy sometimes..."

It spoke, its voice echoing through the room as it bent down, wrapping two hands around her waist-  wait, HANDS?!

That's when she remembered.. she had seen something odd in the creature. It had looked an awful lot like a human figure, blurred by the swirling light surrounding it.

It lifted her up with surprising strength, placing her down carefully on the floor. She turned around and looked at the entity, which had dropped the dancing shield of light around it. She looked at it closely, examining its features as it scoffed and folded its arms, staring at her.

It stood tall at a surprising 178cm, just barely taller than herself. Glowing cyan eyes glared at her from beneath unruly tufts of cerulean hair. They wore a dark suit, the tie matching their eyes.

"Uhm... thank you... you know... for not killing me..."

Elowyn spoke after a few moments, looking away from the entity, feeling rather embarrassed. Of course, she just had to trip on something, especially at a time like this.

"...don't mention it."

"Uhm... alright... uhm... what- uh... what are you known as? I don't think I remember Screech telling me about you..."
