"Oi you."

The nurse working in the room turned around, facing Bakugo. "Yes?"

"Why the hell are the other extras at group and we're stuck in here?"

The nurses smile dropped as she thought about the answer. It was fairly clear why these two weren't allowed to interact with anyone. Heck they were in a separate part of the ward!

"Um, well, we have strict orders to keep you both separated from the patients." She smiled again, resuming her work on disinfecting the room.

"Why aren't we allowed to be with them?" Shoto asked, his curiosity getting the better of him.

The nurse stopped turning around again, a strained smile resting on her lips. "Because we don't want you to have another escape or hurt the patients."

"Why the hell would we hurt them." Bakugo grumbled out.

"Because on your file you have anger issues, a lot of these patients like to cause trouble one way or another, and they would be high risk of getting injured."

"What about half and half. Why does he have to suffer from my consequences."

"Well Todoroki and another patient have had conflict in the past."

"I have?" Todoroki asked.

"Yes. I won't share because of private information but that patient can be a handful." She smiled awkwardly. Was she meant to be telling them all this? No. Was she scared of them. Kind of. Would she get fired over this? Most likely.

She bowed and left the room, locking the door from the outside.

"Tch."

"Hmm? What's wrong?"

"It's pathetic, if anything these lowlife nurses are doing more damage then good." Bakugo laid back down, placing his arm over his eyes.

Shoto looked over at the blonde boy, this experience had been exhausting for all of them.

The nurses had even started restricting visiting times with his sibling, they were 'worried' that they were planning something. They were right of course but it still hurt.

If you get the reference, love you.

Shoto looked out the window, watching as the trees swayed in the wind, their yellow leaves dropping off, some were spinning to the ground while others were being carried away in the strong breeze.

He loved autumn, but only because it was the season before winter, he could feel the temperature change, how the temperatures dropped. He only knew that because he recognises when his body starts the use his quirk more to regulate his body temperature, resulting in him loosing his energy, becoming more tired and lethargic throughout the day.

As if on cue Shoto yawned, concerned ruby eyes flicking up towards the bi-coloured male.

"Tired again icy-hot?"

"Yeah..." He yawned again.

Katsuki sat up moving to the edge of his bed. "You've been tired an awful lot Sho... I'm concerned about you."

Shoto smiled and shook his head. "There's no need to worry, it's just my quirk."

Katsuki raised his eyebrow, confusion shown all over his features.

Shoto chuckled lightly. "Because it's getting colder my quirk is working overtime to regulate my body temperature, resulting in me being constantly tired."

Katsuki nodded in understanding. "Do you want to have a nap, I don't think those fucking nurses will be checking in on us anytime soon."
Katsuki laid down, opening his arms.

Shoto nodded and climbed in next to Katsuki, feeling one of his arms wrapping around his torso, while the other played with his hair. "Just sleep, I'll be here when you wake up."

Shoto yawned in response, closing his eyes and dozed off into a dreamless sleep.
