POEM IV - MEMORIES OF SCHOOL

Childhood memories of school,
The days of youth so cool,
Running around in the playground,
Friendship bracelets and games profound.

Laughing and playing with friends,
Wondering what the future pretends,
Days spent learning and growing,
From multiplication to spelling and knowing.

School assemblies and choir,
The teachers who we admired,
The smell of fresh pencils and books,
The sound of a bell and familiar looks.

The cafeteria's scent and sound,
Eating lunch with friends around,
Swapping stories and trading snacks,
The classroom with desks in neat stacks.

Recesses spent playing ball,
Hoping the day would never stall,
Imaginations free to soar,
Dreams of what the future holds in store.

The memories we hold so dear,
Of childhood days that now appear,
The past is gone, but not forgotten,
In our hearts, the memories remain unbroken.
