POEM XIII - MIDDLE OF JUNE

In the realm of the middle of June,
Where memories dance to a nostalgic tune,
I reflect upon the path I've tread,
And the souls who once beside me tread.

A year has passed since days of old,
When life's story took a different mold,
The faces that once adorned my days,
Have faded like sunsets in distant haze.

In the tapestry of life's fleeting embrace,
I met someone who lit my inner space,
Their words and songs like whispered art,
Kindling a fire within my heart.

But time's relentless march played its part,
And destiny's winds blew us apart,
Yet in the silence of these June nights,
Their spirit lingers, still ignites.

The echoes of laughter and shared delight,
Now memories etched in the starry night,
Though paths diverge and chapters end,
Their presence in my heart will never bend.

For in the middle of June, I've come to see,
How life's tapestry weaves its mystery,
The people we meet, the souls we find,
Leave footprints, lasting, in our mind.

So let us embrace the June's sweet embrace,
And cherish the moments, the joys we trace,
For in the ebb and flow of life's grand tune,
We find beauty in the middle of June.
