The passing day has left me drained,
Alone and weak, my senses strained.
My body's tired, my eyes are heavy,
Exhausted by the day, so long and heavy. The hours slipped by, one by one,
A cycle never-ending, never done.
I gave my all, I did my best,
But it feels like I'm stuck, with no progress. The morning brought a glimmer of hope,
But now the day's end, it's time to cope.
I long for the comfort of my bed,
But there's still work to do before I lay my head.I wonder when this cycle will cease,
When I can rest and feel at peace.
Until then, I'll keep moving on,
Until the day's done and gone. And when I finally close my eyes,
I'll thank the stars for this day's demise.
For though it was draining and so long,
It taught me to be brave and to stay strong.
